NEWBIES INITIATIVE TASK 2- Hive Guidelines and Markdowns

Good day everyone, I'm really privileged to be a member of this great and beautiful platform.

How has been your experience on hive since you joined?

When I first joined hive, it was quite difficult for me, I got little or no encouragement from the person that introduced me to hive, I found it hard to put down content (it was always stuck in my head but difficult to put into writing).

I always had the thought of giving up, that this wasn't meant for me, but still I didn't give up, instead I decided to go through other hive users blog, read their post, and most times I go as far as to screenshot them.

But recently, with the challenges I have faced and the little dedication I have put in here, I would say my experience here on hive is an amazing one. Hive has helped me to improve in my writing skills, using the right words and punctuations. Though I'm fairly satisfied with my work but I believe if I put in more effort success is guaranteed for me.

What are your thought on plagiarism and vote begging?

The idea of copying or pasting someone else idea is wrong. As a writer you should be able to come up with your own idea no matter how poor it is, and also you should learn to make good research on things and improve in your creativity, rather than stealing. Plagiarism, is a form of theft and shouldn't be practiced any where.

The first impression I was given about hive, was a means to make money which isn't completely bad, because when you dedicate your time into something that provides you ends meet you will find yourself putting in more effort, dedication and creativity into it. But when you become too desperate and beg for vote, it gives people the wrong impression about you and you might end up been down voted.

What are your thought on post recycling?

There's really no fun in re-posting any previous post, rather it would only make other hive users lose interest in reading your post. So recycling a post is bad and might ruin your reputation.

How helpful has this post been to you in understanding markdown?

This post is so valuable to me, because so far, I have been able to learn to use some markdown that I'm certain will make my post more attractive and easier to read.

 Thanks for stopping by.

I agree with what you said. this is the same as taking other people's rights to be our rights without having to think anything we easily create blogs by copying what other people have made

Yes @ruthy01, many times we start with little guidance, but all around us there are great teachers and even looking closely we can learn from them. Keep doing your best and little by little you will see the results 😊.
