Played the wrong game

High school was one of the places I so much enjoyed being, everyone with a taste of how they were treated, the memories is one no one will want to forget so easily and quick, most of us saw it as a privilege to get to talk to friends, and do some crazy things that we will be restricted from doing back home.

So Studious? Of course I was, I was also the favourite amongst all my class mates though the youngest I wouldn't also deny that I was one playful and fun child, not loud or rough but can be rude to my seniors every once in awhile.

Anyways I was among the top three best students in my class and then each of us were best in a particular subject too, I was really good in biology both orally and practically. I don't know of other schools but my school was amongst the schools that gives responsibilities and positions to some of the students, known as Prefects.

So, it was really obvious that I was going to get the position of being the Biology Lab Prefect not until I played the wrong game. A week before the week that some students will be assigned to post or lab I got suspended from school. It all happened on a Wednesday it was a free time for us so we uhm thought of doing something fun and different instead of the whole usual noise making.

That was where my suggestion came in, if I had know it will land me in trouble I wouldn't have said anything I came up with a game 'truth/dare' though I have seen the seniors playing it so I thought we could do same, the game is all about saying the truth or doing a dare just like the name implies then if you can't say the truth or do what you were dared to then you will pay a fine of #50, but in our case we choose not to add the fine part so everyone must participate in the game.

So like I said earlier it was a free time for us and we weren't excepting and teacher to barge in on us, so we selected ourselves and moved to the back seat in the class then the game started it was a fun one some unknown truth were said, some were dared to hit their friends or someone that wasn't even among the game.

We were all enjoying the day until it got to my turn, and I was dared to kiss someone, not just anyone someone everyone knew I had a crush on, I could have said no but then it was against the rule so I did it but unknown to us one of the teacher's was standing at the door so she saw us and then called us all to the office when we got there we were asked to knee down, raise our hands up then we were asked who started the game everyone pointed at me obviously because it was my idea to play the game.

The teachers in the office turned and looked at me with so much surprise like they didn't expect such an act from me, we were all asked to write 'I'm sorry' on a 40leaves note book from the first to the last page and to be submitted the next day first thing in the morning, after receiving a serious flogging on our buttocks. Just when I thought the whole thing has ended the next day I got called into the principals office only to meet my mom in the office too with a sad look on her face I got suspended from school for two weeks and by time I resumed after the suspension my position was already given to someone else I felt so bad that I lost my prefect post because I played a wrong game.
