SPT voting threshold needs to be lowered and the monopoly on curation will change once we start bringing in some serious money we will be able to force some of these things to happen and decentralize it a bit more like tis supposed to be. Maybe ill just create a new token like spt offer much bette incentives and rewards delagators care about ROI not what token they use so shouldnt be a hard choice. If the 20 million is lowered to say 100K that would be nice.
What do you mean by a monopoly on curation?
In my case, I usually upvote content creators in Splinterlands that receive no attention.
Curation Cartel has a massive monopoly they bought thre monster curator account, one-up and im sure have control of alot more. The pay outs are not to clear and worded so most dont really get it reading it fast its fine if you know nothing else but what if i gave you 95% author / curator rewards insread of 90% of curator only which cuts you out of more than half.
So how can you address such a situation? I assume many are also not aware of it. You mentioned about creating your own token.
I know how to do it and were working on it

I had more than the whole group at one point in spt at 15 milloin lol my votes were like 20-30 bucks a day just voting my own stuff lol now im buying it back bc its mad cheap. bought a milloin for like nothing the other day and im ginog to see if i can get a majority to force the vote limit through to 10K spt or if that doesnt work i have another way to do it to but 20 million is insane
