A Better Chance At Financial Investment

It is that time of the year where we start to develop a thinking faculty towards our goals and objectives for the new year. We will consider our plans, upcoming achievements, aspirations and possible skills and most of all, how can we achieve all these and more. For most, the agenda for this year is to work on their finance, if they were making five figures, then it has to become six and if it was six, now it has to be seven. This just goes to say that every individual has their new year resolution revolving around the concept of growth. Like it is well said, “change is one thing that is constant in life and growth is what we all seek”. Some people may be focused on their growth of becoming better people, while others may be concerned with their growth towards financial independence. In the end, it boils down to the fact that as human beings, we want a chance at success and the opportunity of living a fulfilled life. And in our modern society of today, what brings this success and better life, other than financial freedom. This explains the main reason why almost every individual in the world of today tends to include their finance in their quest for growth. In this article, I will talk about investment options anyone can take into consideration if seeking for more money.

INVEST IN THE HIVE BLOCKCHAIN

In my quest of getting a better chance at financial freedom, I stomped upon the platform known as hive, which became the turning point in my life and finance. Through this platform, I was allowed to earn a good amount of money in Hive Dollar (HBD), Hive Power (HP) for my writings, and video contents. But there is so much to hive than just earning these tokens. We can invest in these tribe tokens, we can dive into Blockchain gaming and many more

Blockchain Gaming is one aspect that many investors has gained alot from. I was reading a post by @readthisplease, talking about how people make alot of money with little investment. I then saw a comment by @r1s2g3

I converted $50 to $50K.

How did he do it?

He invested in splinterlands and his gaming and investments did a 1000x!

There are many games now on the Blockchain, However, we have a very big one, RAGNAROK coming soon, although it looks like it will be more of a spectator game, I believe its holds alot of great investment opportunities that alot of people will benefit from.

In my previous article, “A Better Chance at Financial Freedom” where I talked about how to make more money from my Nigerian perspective, I made mention of the option that one should invest in crypto. Not only buying coins but taking out time to do adequate research on the projects and developmental team behind the creation of a particular crypto coin. Thus, it gives one a better understanding of the creation of the coin and a relaxed mind in knowing that one has invested in a brilliant project. Investing in crypto is not entirely narrow to buying crypto coins only, there are opportunities in the space of learning about other sectors in the crypto space that doesn’t require you to hold your coin for profit only.

START INVESTING IN AN INDEX FUND

Investopedia defines an index fund as a type of mutual fund or with a portfolio constructed to match or track the components of a financial, such as the Standard & Poor's 500 Index (S&P 500). An index mutual fund is said to provide broad market exposure, low operating expenses, and low portfolio turnover. These funds follow their benchmark index regardless of the state of the markets.
An index fund simply means investing in the S&P 500 which is the top 500 company in America. The Billionaire Warren Buffet describes this form of investment as a safe and secure choice for saving for the future. This investment strategy can help guarantee a future where one can live his or her retirement in the comfort of luxury they deserve.

BUILD AN INVESTMENTMENT CLUB

You can find in hive new people to your project. And it's also a great way to contact new people, especially people who are a long time in hive, they are independent people, and they are open-minded people, and it's good to have such friends. Because they will open your view on cryptocurrency, and you will understand more things.

This is an investment strategy I tend to explore this year. It involves surrounding yourself with people of like minds or people with a common goal. It is what I like to call the billion club. During a seminar where a got to listen to investment stories from top founders in my country, a Female CEO told us about the story of how she began an investment club. The club was mainly filled with her friends from college where they studied finance together. The club was for the main purpose of investing in large projects that required large capital. For instance, she spoke about how the group members came together to raise $10,000 by collecting $1000 from each member. The raised capital was used to invest in an agricultural business that became profitable and each member got a return on investment based on the amount they invested. This investment club later turned into an Investment Fund over time and each member is a millionaire as of today. This goes to prove that there is power in numbers, an amount that was financially difficult for an individual to release was raised easily by a group of people. Through her investment story, I became inspired to start an investment club with my close friends, which will be built on transparency and trust. So I will say if you have an idea that can help change the world or a business concept that can generate profit, do not be scared to start an investment club to fund the idea or business concept. You can also look at pitching to an investor as a form of investment club as well.

In conclusion...

Ideas, dreams, goals and even aspirations are never achieved without action. So always take your investment options serious cause they are your financial power in the real world.
