Tips for new players of Splinterlands

I am not sure if my tips for splinterlands sent to Chris were considered but here goes. I will write down some tips for new players so that they find it useful and do not have to think or be confused.

• Why do I have to play the quest?

Well, if you play the quest, you get rewarded in two ways; one is the dec and then the daily reward. isn't that cool?

• Why do we have to rank higher?

The higher you climb, the more rewards you will get and if you are lucky enough to get a gold foil card, your collection power will increase and you will even be able to get on to the next league and try your luck there.

• Is there any benefit in joining a guild?

When I first played, no one had told me to join a guild until I noticed my opponents getting guild bonuses and I asked and got the answer that I need to join a guild to get a bonus dec. I also realized that top guilds gave better bonuses than the lower-ranked ones. The only problem was that the top ones required fees and I was a new player. I did manage to join a free guild anyway and later on leveled my deck to join the Neoxian guild which at present has two open spots. So, if you want to join and have a 2k rating or above, you can apply.

• Teamwork

All your monsters should have some coordination and even if it seems silly at first, it will make sense later. Like, if you are choosing a team for a no range ruleset, it wouldn't make sense to choose a summoner like the Contessa or Selenia, would it? Likewise, include a sneak whenever you can and if it has magic, it would be great. So, the magic goblin which has sneak is good.

• Level-up level up level up
  Level up your commons first so that it can be summoned by your level one summoners too and it's cheaper. Trust me, the common Undead Rex still helps me win in the trample ruleset. There is no such thing as a useless card because all cards have some use. Only, you should know when to use it and how.

• ECR

Energy capture rate should be in decent levels and then only you can earn a good amount of dec so as to invest back in the game and get returns.

• Cub Dec pool, keep your keys safe

Leo finance has decided to allow a Cub Dec pool which means dec will be really valuable and so will your cards too. So, be careful with cards, your dec and make sure you do not give away your keys to anyone.
