If you have not seen the pair Bud Spencer and Terrence Hill, you must. Trinity is still my name - the name of the movie brings a feeling of nostalgia like no other. I remember being introduced to these classics by my brothers who kept talking about it and even play-acted sometimes. Those were the days of no internet and children had to find their own entertainment to keep themselves busy and out of trouble. I am talking of the early eighties when we were all kids and my brothers were nearly into their late teens.

I still remember Bud Spencer eating (read that as relishing)his 'stolen' beans and it amused me greatly and also made me appreciate food especially because I was one picky eater who always exasperated her parents, lol.

Back to the movie, it is a western classic comedy. Bud Spencer and Terrence Hill were a combination like no other. The very sight of them would make the audience burst into laughter and muffled giggles in the first-class rows. Those days, seats were divided based on the ticket fares.

Plot summary

Bud Spencer as Bambino comes across four convicts from whom he steals food and horses. later, his brother Trinity also does the same thing. Later they meet at home and their father feigns sickness and makes them promise to work together.

Bambino and Trinity go on to help a family whose cart is stuck and later Trinity with the help of his tricks, wins a card game and like all western classics, there is a gun show.

Bambino and Trinity fool the people around that they are federal agents and are paid money to keep their 'eyes shut'. They are told later that the man who paid them money was using the mission to hide loots. They help the real 'monks' to fight the outlaws and hand them over to the authorities. The authorities recognize Bambino as a wanted horse thief but Trinity hands over the loot to them to allay their suspicions. Bambino and Trinity argue over this act and they find the family whose cart is stuck yet again and Trinity goes over to help them out.
