Ever since I realized in college that researchers would tailor their approaches towards the funding being given, I never saw science the same again.

Your final comment made me laugh though. Sending that refrozen reblog into the sun is surely a good way to warms things up. Thanks for sharing.

I know, its like everything has been politiced for a long time now, from science to medicine to fit a narrative that only a handful of people fully understand.

Glad you enjoyed my snippet of humour at the end, I try to drop them at the end to ligthen the mood.

Thanks for dropping by Pal, very much appreciate that, cheers

Yes, unfortunately the peer-review system oftentimes simply operates as a gatekeeper where 'old ideas' get rehashed and genuine scientific enquiry and curiosity never see the light of day.

And, as you mentioned, the funding mechanisms are the same. Very little funding (especially government funding) goes to those who are genuinely skeptical of the status quo. Yet, it is skepticism of the status quo that is most likely to lead to true discovery.

Totally agree Pal, It is harder to find any funding these days for projects that will lead to true discoveries, it has become all about return on investment and whatever biased narrative others might want portrayed.

Truth and science have unfortunately become a dirty words in some circles lol
