Introduction

Hello, how are you all? In today's post, I want to share 4 reasons that made me start at Rising Star and consequently, encourage me to continue playing and believing in a bright future, for this being one of the most popular games on hive.

These are personal feelings I have in relation to Rising Star and obviously each one has its own special reason that holds you back in a certain game, so these are the ones that feel from the beginning, when I performed the first Illegal Busking (The first mission of the game).

So these reasons can serve both for those who have never played, for those who are just starting or a veteran, like me, the important thing is that there is always something new to learn and this is a good motivation for everyone.

Motives

Each person, when they commit to playing a certain game, creates their own expectations, excitements and disappointments. We have to remember that each game is unique, but its players, who can be thousands of people who are totally different from each other, have different thoughts and feelings.

When I started, my first feelings and later my understandings, led me to create this very simple list, with some reasons that encouraged me to start my musical career at Rising Star.

It's free!

You might think this reason is pretty futile, but for me it wasn't. When a person starts something new, often the first impression they have is the one that stays, so if a game has very difficult commands, maybe most of your new players won't stay because they just won't be able to understand and play the game. match.

Source

Now, imagine people, fresh out of a Web 2.0, stepping on Blockchain from hive, with a flood of information: buy, sell, Stake, ROI, APR , Hive Power, Tokens, posting, games and ahhhhhh how crazy.

At Rising Star it's all very simple, you can get started for free! Just create an account and start playing! I believe that this fact, perhaps overlooked by many, is what makes having an interested player base.

Source

When you don't need an upfront investment, people who are starting not only in the game but in the entire Blockchain feel more comfortable starting in something other than requires an initial expense.

Therefore, there is no risk of "losing", we are encouraged to try the game without fear, with an open mind and after that, we make the decision to continue or skip the game.

Fun

The point I always emphasize: the game has to be fun, it has to be pleasurable, it has to make family and friends get together and have fun, escaping the harsh reality of our blue planet, generating interaction and bonds with its players.

There's no point in the game having an investment of millions if it can't please and deliver what it promises. Whether in co-op or “solo”, as in the case of Rising Star, it has to be fun, it has to give you that anxiety of wanting to get home from school or from work and run to the front of the PC to play.

Unnamed design.png
Source

Many when they realize that Rising Star is an “idle” style game, they get discouraged and stop. Well, look how cool, I never liked this type of game for cell phones, these games where the dolls beat themselves, everything in “auto” or else you have to click on a button to level up a building and there it is. 3 days waiting for the deal to end, arghh.

But here it was different, RS managed to arrest me, have fun, whether by the really cool songs that play on the radio, the sounds when we meet drunks or get a pizza, or coffee, even the proposed challenges that generate that anxiety and focus on wanting progress through missions and maps.

Synergy With Routine

This topic is very simple. I'm married, I have a couple of kids, I work 8 hours a day from Monday to Friday, I come home tired, stressed but it doesn't stop there, there's more to do: Splinterlands, posts, vote, comment, analyze the market, interact, etc.

Source

Rising has this synergy, because there are missions that take 1, 4 or 5 hours to be done, others are 5, 10 or 25 minutes, for example, so I can adapt my routine in reality with the mission routine.

On busier and more complicated days, I can simply carry out longer missions, as I won't have time to face my PC or cell phone to monitor my progress. On quieter days, I can stay close and do shorter missions to get more Tokens.

Source

These options match our daily routine and that's great, there's no point in investing in a game I don't have time to play!

Possibility of Real Gain

Well, last but not least, a differentiator of a game “Play-To-Earn”, is the possibility for you to play and not only have fun, but also be able to earn “money”, which in this case are the Tokens that we call Starbits, that making the sales and going through some processes, yes, it falls in your pocket.

The amazing thing about this is that I imagine it as if it were a business, a bakery, a market, you will work (play), you will have an investment, whether it is time or money, you will have a return and then you decide how much to reinvest and how much to take out to be the profit.

let's Play!.png
Source

Of course, I always remind my readers, this is not a financial recommendation, don't do anything that you are not 100% aware of the consequences, but this topic is very interesting precisely for that reason: you can get started for free, create your routine and strategies and in end can make a profit, withdrawing part of what he won "in-game"!

What we can do is invest to accelerate return on investment (ROI), but I, for one, got where I arrived without investing anything outside, simply using what I got from Rising Star.

Conclusion

Motives are often personal feelings we have about a particular thing or individual. And so I presented the ones that best fit my routine since my beginning at Rising Star. Maybe many here are familiar with them or don't understand why they are here either, it's up to each one's taste.

What I think sometimes is that we forget the purpose of believing in a goal, a dream, a game and even if many don't understand, we should always remember the fun moments, the great moves or that amazing pack we opened, it doesn't matter, the moments unique are the biggest victory we have.

Sinergia Com a Rotina

For my personal preference, I would say that playing the game gives me some fun but not necessarily super fun as it is an idle game. Though, it becomes really fun when you see the price of Starbits rising up. 😊
But what I appreciate from being an idle game is that I can play it while doing something else. Like for this instance, I am reading and commenting on post while playing the game at the same time.

Thanks for sharing.

Hello how are you? I agree with you on the Starbits issue, when the price goes up it really gives a good cheer and I hope it keeps going up so that players continue to like and believe in the game.

And as you said RS is good because of that, while we do something, we can leave a mission running and be carefree! Thank you very much for the support and interaction.
