I dont think there was any intention to 'snipe' any idea. As mentioned Hannes hadn't realised there was another 'hugs' token before making the token and bot, when he did realise he asked the creator of Hugs, snooks if it was ok to continue. The idea of a hug is pretty universal as a nice gesture, the idea was actually spun off luv bot which operates on the similar code. It was a chance for Hannes to further his coding without utilising a currently circulating token.

As I mentioned I'm sure there's a possibility of working together, or possibly even passing ownership. This is up to Hannes, the token actually has no affiliation with us, other than Hannes helping fix our sloth bot, and trying to further his development skills to further enhance the functionality. We think he's a great asset to development on Hive as a whole. Drop me (or hannes directly) a message on discord and we can further discuss the situation as required.
