Busy busy times...
This week has all been about trying to balance real life and virtual life.
We the @acolytesofhelio will soon be launching our sisterguild! We will have some really nice perks for our guild members. More about this will come as an announcement later on. I bought a bunch of untamed and dice packs with the intention to wait until they rise in price. But unfortunately I went to close to the mana well and they all fell in. Now I have one more Zaku and unpacked some other legendaries too. I have a bunch of cards to rent out now that rental 2.0 is live.
Feel free to browse! (btw. I am not putting my cards up with a 30% ROA as most do. I have kinda fair prices but if you need anything and it is too expensive let me know we can always talk business :) )
Now I will have to go back to the market to get more PACKS

Crypto:
Got myself some dividend paying tokens such as Utopis, And DHEDGE, SPI, EDSM, LENM.

$CUB is finally taking some upward momentum. Way to go to get to my entry point though.

Hive:
I was on a meetup in Vienna where I got to know some of the German speaking Hiveans. We had a really nice evening. Thanks @manncpt for organizing that! Cant wait for the next one on 5th of August
So if anyone is in Vienna at that time let me know and lets meet up!

Axie infinity:
Its on ETH, and I still strugglle to get over the horrible fees for transacting on that network.
BUT it seems to be a really fun game and I love games :)
So if anyone has tips and tricks for me on how to get my axie journey started lemme know!

HIVE HIVE HIVE...

I have been trying myself this week, but it has been fricking hard with more than 50% of the week with meetings... a super busy week with lots of the team around. Great and amazing, but that results in less time in here.

The next 2 weeks might be easier for me. So more time.

COVID increasing in Europe.. and Australia getting crazy about it. Let's see...

Trying to come back (been a long time) to my witness on HIVE Engine and progress with my script... there is a boatload of changes coming "even after HF25"... HIVE is now going mainstream, and I am going to be around for sure.

Do you think Hive is going mainstream? I hope for a wider audience, also hoping for a lot of people coming in from Leofinance as they roll out the marketing campaign for $CUB.
I very much hope that on some point I will be able to tell: I was not the earliest one (have not been here for so long actually) but I was one of the early adopters and now I am filthy rich. Here take this maxed out gold foil Zaku and play!
Ah yeah you can play on my private jet or on my yacht :)

Nice idea and fun stuff you've got going here @forykw As far as Hive, one thing that stands out to me is the dev talent. There are very skilled people making things work here. !LUV

Indeed, hopefully, it can gain some more public exposure over time. I am trying to look for helpers and diversification of timezones to enable a better experience on the information shared in the Pub.

If you find anyone that wishes to help. Check the post details section where there is info about it.

Fun thing I found about Hive recently, if you search for "Blockchain" on Font Awesome's icons, only Hive shows up (not ETH or BTC). Was working on a collab NFT series and found that.

RE: Axie, seems like they'll need to adjust the entry point pricing at some point. I think it's like, what, $450-600 to get started? 3 Axies are required which is kind of steep at 0.1 ETH per.

Yeah... the big problem of ETH for games is maintenance cost and entry price. That's why HIVE has a huge potential right now, to get ahead of the game as fast as possible.

On the other side, some investors don't wanna play with cents... and that's the reason why they go to ETH. But that might change because they also go there because there is more volume, and that's something that will continually grow on HIVE, and then it will attract more of the big players.

That's true, but with HIVE and WAX becoming more popular for games I think we'll see a shift. It might become more viable on ETH with the upcoming network changes, but the high cost of entry and transaction fees are a huge turn off for me when looking at games leveraging it.
