RE: The place we call home

Since I lived in several countries in my life there are many places I call home.
There are 3 major hubs where I feel home. First of all Vienna the city I live in. Second is Nyúl a small village in Hungary just about an hour and twenty minutes from Vienna. If you translate it to english it means Rabbit. My parents still live here and we try to visit as often as possible.
And then Munich where I was born. In all of these places I have a different kind of feeling at home.
Vienna of course is now my main hub. The city is vibrant and has a diverse culture and so many things to see. And if you want to flee to the woods you can do that with hopping on a bus in the middle of the city and get out on top of a whineberg and have a nice walk back to the city and all that in a matter of 1,5 hours maybe two. If you want to climb rocks you can be at the countryside with the train in 45 minutes and climb on the house mountains of the city. I very much enjoy the infrastructure that is just amazing. My fiancé owns a car but for most of the time it is not in use. Thats because we can just hop onto a bus or a tram or a metroline within minutes and be anywhere in the city without travelling longer than 45 minutes. Vienna is a very bike friendly city. There is bike lanes almost everywhere and you can use most of the one way roads in both directions. I need 17 minutes to be at the heart of the city or 20 to be on the Danube island called Donauinsel where you can actually swim in the Danube. Check out @manncpt posts about the Hive Vienna meetups. The hive community is alive in this city.

@liotes! I sent you a slice of $PIZZA on behalf of @solymi.

Did you know you can earn $PIZZA through Hive-Engine Diesel Pools? (2/10)

I visited Vienna about 5 years ago with my family. It is a very beautiful town and we actually visited the Donausinsel. I remember there was a place where you could have a drink and kids could play in the sand. The whole restaurant was on sand. My kids loved it :-).

Thanks a lot for sharing!
