Deuteronomy 5:9 Thou shalt not bow down thyself unto them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me,

we should not bow to any idol or any graven images because GOD prohibits us from doing such and he is a jealous GOD.

Deuteronomy 5:8 Thou shalt not make thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the waters beneath the earth.

We should not in any way make of ourselves any graven images at all.

Ecclesiastes 12:1 Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them;

it is of Paramount importance to seek GOD early in life, search and discover the whole truth about our creator,GOD

1 Timothy 1:13 Who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: but I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief.

Ignorance is one of the major reasons most people comit sins and apostle Paul is an example of this.

flesh is also one of the major reasons people comit sin.
of a truth,we are mortals and the flesh desires mostly abominable things if its not suppressed by our spirit and by GOD'S grace.

Ecclesiastes 8:11 Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil.

GOD has given us a choice and he doesn't force any one to obey him..our heart is always yearning for evil as humans.

James 4:7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

God want us to obey him willingly by submitting ourselves unto him, we are giving freedom to choose anything.
