π DIY Lime Pickle π Delicious In Food Or Drinks πΉ Ital/Vegan
Hello dear friends! Last month I had some limes from a friend, and I missed foods and drinks made from lime pickle. I made some lime pickle and put some in the fridge, and now we can eat or drink this pickle anytime. I'm happy to share it with you all.
We can make this pickle for use in soup or even stir-fries with meat. It's special for making drinks, itβs tasty and good for health too.
π©βπ³ Lime Pickle (Ital) Recipe πͺ
αα·ααΈααααΎααααΌα αααΆααααΌα
Ingredients
- 8 limes
- 3 tbsp salt
- 1 1/2 cup water
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
Wash the limes and roll with salt well. Boil the water, and after boiling turn off the stove and put limes in the hot water, keeping them a few minutes there. Now remove them from the water and dry them under the sun. Sunbathe them every day for a week or more.
After that boil water with add salt and sugar. After boiling turn off the stove and wait until cool, then arrange limes in a jar and add the water. Take bamboo or a stick to put on the top for keeping limes under the water. If the lime is not in the water it might get mold.
Put the jar under the sun two hours or more every day for over one month. After that we put it in the house.
After a month we can eat it, but it's more delicious after six months. We can keep them for eating until two to three years. Normally we like to make a big batch just one time, maybe two to three kilos of lime because this recipe takes a lot of time to do it.
I crushed it to enjoy with honey for a drink today. At first I wanted to put it in this post too but I had a guest came to visit our family, and I do not have time to make two recipes in one post. I will share with you next time. Have a great day everybody and stay safe π.

Oh, thatβs good, but I have never do it.
This is so amazing, it's salty, sweet, sour, and a shock to the taste buds. I really like all the ways you've prepared it for me so far, but yes it was a lot of work for you.

Thank you for sharing,This is very good,Great idea and it works.
In my country the same people like to get them from the market because it's easier and not much expensive, for 4 pickle lime is 50 cents. Thank you for nice words βΊοΈ
You're welcome, bro.
But in our country it's easy to get lime, but I've never seen anyone make it like that.
I love lime pickle but I never made it ever. It's such a good idea. I always get limes on sale that are kind of old so they make the price cheaper. This is what I can do with them. Thanks for the idea my friend!
I never make old lime but you can try it. This recipe people make another recipe also but it's a long time for eat. They arrange the lime in a jar and put so much salt in the jar. Then they took it to dry under the sun every day in 6 month, then they start to eat. So if you want to make fast you can make by my recipe. Have a beautiful day my friend.
