I got inspired to talk about the topic: what do we enjoy as being hivers after my conversation with my friend who said he is a blogger as well. I had no choice than to preach Hive to him later on when I saw his effort there would not be appreciated compared to having it on Hive.
Also about the topic: Can we live on our Hive earnings, I got inspired to speak on that after reading @khaleesii post. I thought of sharing my view point on that.

Yeah I was thinking the same before uploading it. But the music was in its lowest volume when I edited it. Didn't know how to reduce the music volume lower than it already was. Would work on it though.

Well, proofofbrain price has dropped since I made that statement. So that is not the case currently.
I think your strategy is okay. I live off my earnings and I try to live a very minimal lifestyle so my expenditure is quite low. Also, I do not think growing your account and living off your hive earnings are mutually exclusive. You can achieve both simultaneously. The only caveat here is that your growth is a lot slower.
Also, it is advisable to source for alternative income streams. Currently I have about 4 on hive and the goal is to have another outside hive next year. 2022 is probably my last year of active blogging. I want to focus on other things, thus, I need an income stream outside hive, which I am working towards.

Price of Hive don drop since we start to talk about this topic. I think if we calculate our earnings on Hive and pay ourselves monthly, we can live comfortably and be a bit more disciplined. However, if you say it must be $100, you might hit a rock.

I mean if you plan on living off your earnings, it's best to calculate your earnings based on what you earn. For instance, you could decide to pay yourself 100 Hive every month. That's a lot more reasonable than paying yourself $100 hive equivalent every month. Does that make sense?
Yeah... I prefer being paid in Hive more. 100 Hive could end up being worth more than a $100.

Hello friend I have 5 minutes talking to my son about how well I am doing in hive in the last week. If I compare with the salaries in Venezuela obviously the earnings in hive are higher. Here to give you an idea the minimum wage is 5 dollars. My salary as such would be like 18 where a basic basket of goods is over 300 dollars a month. Hive is a blessing and my biggest help at the moment. You also have to make an effort so that the curators and users take you into account and vote for you, that's why we must make good publications. I, inspired by you, am going to help get several people into hive and explain to them, I have already included 5 people, some of them stay, others have no patience and leave. Well for now, I just do hive as a game, I am more eager to climb the ranks than to actually earn. I teach kids to chess and I also have some other jobs for feeding basically. My hive earnings,I mostly send them to binance for some trades.
Maybe someday if I be like you,I could think of surving through my earnings.
