THE NEWBIES ARE THE FUTURE!!!

avatar
(Edited)

We talk of how we can get the word of Hive to the world, how we can get more investors to know Hive but truth is, it all lies everyday on the new people coming into hive everyday.

IMG-20220303-WA0063.jpg

We know how tough it is as a newbie on Hive, how hard it is to navigate through hive and understand what and what not to do. I am sure you do, because you are probably a newbie reading this or were once a newbie.

WHAT MAKES NEWBIES THE FUTURE?

They help publicise hive, they help bring more people into the chain when they see it is less frustrating and easier to navigate.

IMG-20220303-WA0062.jpg

One of the easiest way to bring in people in general and mostly investors to the system is through a face to face conversation, and who would do that: those who comes in the community as a newbie and gets to understand how the system works. They spread the word and I call this term: Tell somebody to always tell somebody.

They would be able to defend hive, preach hive and tell any available person they know or meet.

That's why, attention needs to be placed on newbies as well. The system grows as new people comes in everyday but, would they stay if they don't see the reason they joined the platform at the first place?

From reading the post of @pele23, It is our duty as long time Hivers to check and upvote posts of newbies. In this post he stated one true fact

All Newbies are potential dolphins and orcas.

This statement is so true, and the growth of the chain relies on them. I was once a newbie myself and I can remember how hard the struggle was but yet I kept building because @josediccus made me see the worth of doing so and the treasure in Hive. How well are we doing to make them see the treasure in Hive.

I am glad that the OCD team is doing a great job with the onboarder initiative and love-sniper going about helping to support #introductory posts of newbies. I bet, those $20 vote goes a long way to motivate Newbies to start up.

But yet, is the introductory post enough to make them stay. No it is, it isn't. So I probably advices dolphins and orcas to go about supporting more of these newbies out there.

WHAT NEWBIES SHOULD KNOW!!!

If you are a newbie you should know that earning little on your account for now is normal because you are new to the chain and there are a lot for you to discover.

This post would try to make things easier for you most especially those who feel greatly discouraged. If you follow the following advice then you are good to go and hopefully everything would get easier.

One of the first things I always ask people before I bring them to Hive is, What are your passions?

Why do I do this?

That's because I portray Hive as Rewards for Passion. Hive is exactly that and even more than that. People are here showing different skills, sharing different contents that they are passionate about. It could be Art, Music, Science, Finance, anything. Hive open doors to all passion

We have communities with different niche and one of them would surely be related to a skill or passion you have.

It would be very easier picking a community in the OCD INCUBATION COMMUNITY or any active communities and be active in it, not just regards posting but being social with others.

Hive is a social network and all you need is to do is be very social. There is saying:

Your network is your Net worth

The more we build our network we have with people the more visibility we gain, the more we probability that we would earn more from our posts.

This applies in real life situations too, everybody needs somebody to attain success you just have to keep connecting with people via engagement.

That's what I do too even though I am not a newbie on Hive because I know my progress here on Hive relies on how much I can network with people.

DUTIES AS A NEWBIE

Except from being very social and engaging with other Hivers on Chain, we also have a duty to make as they would bring in more support.

It is your duty as a newbie to build your stake as well. It would not be worthwhile earning an that support without making a plan to grow and give out support to others out there as well.

When I was new here on hive, I maintained a plan. I grew steadily like as I am doing now. Investing the little I earn and building my stake to attain dolphin level.

You don't need to buy in a chunk of Hive before you have a significant growth, it's easily done by delegating part of your earnings towards your growth.

This made me attain dolphin status in less than a year. It was possible for me as a newbie, so would it be for you too if you are dedicated to the process.

I know its tough, and I know it's going to be tough but grow steadily no matter how slow, growth is growth.

THIS POST IS SET TO 100% HIVE POWER AS A STEP TO ACHIEVE 18K HP BEFORE YEAR ENDING

I see you are a newbie. To note, very helpful post isn't a way to engage with other authors. Instead, I see it as Spamming.

Kindly please note what you see most helpful about the post.

The more we build our network we have with people the more visibility we gain, the more we probability that we would earn more from our posts.

Exactly, building network also means engaging and interacting with others. Like what you said, passion is what will drive out your success on Hive, find the community that suit your passion then build relationship with them. And that doesn't mean you shouldn't engage with other niches too.

The goal is to be successful, and I love the fact that you mentioned building your stake.

This is also an important thing, hopefully I can also become a dolphin before my birthday (next year)

Thank you so much for tips, it's very useful to everyone that's aiming to succeed on Hive.

Thank you once again for sharing ❤️

You get the whole point of the post. Relationship matters and our growth depends on it.

hopefully I can also become a dolphin before my birthday (next year)

as a beginner to build your stake too. There's no point in getting that support without making a plan to grow and providing support to others out there too.

I agree with your statement, and that's what I will do now even though I am new to this field I will continue to read other people's posts so that I can gain a lot of insight. I have a plan to increase my HP to a higher level, but I don't have a target to reach it yet.

Keep the growth steady, try to make a target of maybe you want an increase of 30 HP, in two weeks or less.

Then plan, how do you want to fulfill this target, is it by publishing everyday or changing post rewards to 100% hive power. Just develop a plan but make it something easy for you to attain.

I will try to do the way you gave, maybe I will be a little difficult to get it. But it doesn't hurt to try

This post is just timely. Honestly, we as humans like living in the fast lane. As newbies, we desire our contents to gather as much attention as veterans in the system, but things obviously don't work that way. And this post have not only reiterated that fact but is a source of motivation for newbies like me.

Thanks for the timely insight. We'll truly be the future of Hive!

I just hope you aren't losing motivation because I know how tough it can be out there. We just need to keep up and endure the trivial.

All will be better!!!

Facts established here in this post showed that a structure (newbie hiver) without a support system (long term hiver) cannot stand firm. However, a newbie that is not committed to work will hardly get support. The problem now is the newbie getting noticed on the chain on time (so as to get all necessary support) lest his energy fades off and get tired in the process.

As a newbie, it will my desire to bring all of my friends into the chain. But the problem is clearly stated in this post; how will I convince them if they cannot see the growth in me?

The easiest way to bring in more newbie is when there is results to back your claims. You struggle less once this happen but have to keep working to make it happen.

Man!!! You are on point. Your life alone is view point for people on hive.

The reason why in some time I stopped bringing people on hive was because I had no means to support them and didn't want them to feel the same struggle I felt but when I got to understand the system, I have brought in over 100 people on Hive.

And yes! Many of them have dropped it because they cannot deal with it, but we still have 40+ still active on the chain.

The main point is without us, these Newbies can't survive and can't invite their friends.

Exactly!! Ample amount of patience is required to survive on this chain. And when I say survive here I mean to reach your goals. The only way I see that newbies can have such patience is if they are properly nurtured into the system before getting started because they can sense the results in someone they look up to.

Result makes persuasion easy. A big result is equal to more credibility. It's as simple as that but not easy to attain.

It's been over a year since I joined but I think I have been distracted a lot by the other stuff such as Hive Engine tokens. I'll probably get to Dolphin eventually and everyone grows at some point. So I definitely agree that we should be supporting the new users more as well.

Hive is a social network and all you need is to do is be very social.

Being social is the key towards growing and also staking.
Big appreciate to the $20 support.Basically it is not easy starting from the very beginning but with the $20 help vote. Newbies like me will be motivated to keep up and not relent.. With HIVE the future is bright like the morning sunset..

Thanks a lot @starstrings01 for the initiative program..

Your network is your Net worth

I believe in this saying and my few months on hive so far, I have come to realize that being social, constantly engaging with other people's post, will definitely make it easier for us to build our network.

Many thanks for sharing!

Agree with you on this bro, kudos, attention needs to be placed on newbies as they are prone to errors. Its just like coming to a place new of which the ** deeds and donts** might not really know. So newbies are urged to ask questions, make the right good steps and be eager to learn
