Dear friends of Hive, continuing with our exploration of the Sardinian hinterland, Giovanna and I had left, taking with us the amazement, for the Millenary Olivastri di Luras, to continue towards Arzachena. A small village in Gallura, known for its cultural importance, thanks to the numerous archaeological sites dating back to the Nuragic age, including nuraghi and tombs of the giants, among which there is also the one with the largest intact stele in Sardinia. Even if today we will not talk about this, but we will stop in the country itself, where by stopping to recharge a bit, we made some pleasant discoveries that we did not expect.

After a short refreshment, we decided to take a stroll through the characteristic historic center of the town, unaware of what awaited us, walking through the alleys and mural, we met this small door open to an ancient dwelling, where to intrigue our interest was a sign saying:

"The Box of Time is a precious corner of wonders in which history, identity, traditions and emotions meet in the name of culture and walk together on the streets of the past, for a present aware of its roots and a future with distant horizons."

Upon entering we discovered that we were in the smallest museum in Italy, a corner of memories and re-enactments of the Sardinian and Italian past, enclosed in a small room with free admission, where it was possible to make an offer for its maintenance, which we gladly have contributed and signed the attendance book, delighted by the pleasant discovery.

Leaving the mini museum behind us, we reached the apex of the climb that characterizes the historic center, to discover with amazement the staircase of Santa Lucia, a work of art by the street artist Roberto Ciredz, which evokes the centenary of autonomy for the municipality of Arzachena, which falls this year in 2022.

The work with the name "Turibulum", takes the name given by the Romans to these territories, a celebration of its history, represented by a set of visions, image fragments, located in the vertical side of the steps, which from the right perspective tell the variety of the landscape, seasonal colors, granite shapes, Mediterranean vegetation, the sea and the scents of Gallura.

Images that mix and intersect, giving those who walk the staircase different reading possibilities. An idea of ​​different and contemporary art, which combined with the history of this place, creates a space in which to immerse oneself to rediscover a sense of freedom that is inspired by nature.

We arrived at the end of this story, happy and enthusiastic about the discoveries made by taking a simple walk, we allowed ourselves a last look from the top of the steps of Santa Lucia, where free thoughts caress our mind for a moment, and then start again towards new horizons, full of enthusiasm for having discovered something new and with even more awareness, that there is a world to discover every day, is just around the corner.

Cari amici di Hive, proseguendo con la nostra esplorazione dell'entroterra Sardo, io e Giovanna avevamo lasciato, portando con noi il stupore, gli Olivastri Millenari di Luras, per proseguire in direzione Arzachena. Un piccolo paesino della Gallura, noto per la sua importanza culturale, grazie ai numerosi siti archeologhe risalenti l'età nuragica, tra nuraghi e tombe dei giganti, tra le quali vi è anche quella con la stele integra più grande della Sardegna. Anche se oggi non parleremo di questo, ma ci soffermeremo nel paese in sè, dove facendo tappa per ricarburare un po', abbiamo fatto delle piacevoli scoperte che non ci aspettavamo.

Dopo un breve ristoro, abbiamo deciso di fare due passi per il caratteristico centro storico del paese, ignari di ciò che ci aspettava, passeggiando tra i vicoli e murale, abbiamo incontrato questa piccola porta aperta su un'antica dimora, dove a incuriosire il nostro interesse è stato un cartello che diceva:

"La Scatola del Tempo è un prezioso angolo di meraviglie nel quale storia, identità, tradizioni ed emozioni, si incontrano nel nome delle cultura e camminano insieme sulle strade del passato, per un presente consapevole delle proprie radici e un futuro con orizzonti lontani."

Entrando abbiamo scoperto che ci trovavamo nel più piccolo museo d'Italia, un angolo di ricordi e rievocazioni del passato Sardo e Italiano, racchiuso in una piccola stanza con ingresso libero, dove era possibile fare un'offerta per il suo mantenimento, che volentieri abbiamo contribuito e firmato il libro delle presenze, felicitati dalla piacevole scoperta.

Lasciato il mini museo alle nostre spalle, abbiamo raggiunto l'apice della salita che caratterizza il centro storico, per scoprire con stupore la scalinata di Santa Lucia, un'opera d'arte dell'artista di strada Roberto Ciredz, che evoca il centenario dell'autonomia per il comune di Arzachena, che ricade proprio quest'anno nel 2022.

L'opera con il nome "Turibulum", riprende il nome dato dai Romani a questi territori, una celebrazione della sua storia, rappresentata da un insieme di visioni, frammenti di immagine, situati nel lato verticale degli scalini, che dalla giusta prospettiva raccontano la varietà del paesaggio, i colori stagionali, le forme granitiche, la vegetazione mediterranea, con il mare e i profumi della Gallura.

Immagini che si mescolano ed intersecano, dando a chi percorre la scalinata differenti possibilità di lettura. Un'idea di arte diversa e contemporanea, che unita alla storia di questo luogo, crea uno spazio in cui immergersi per ritrovare un senso di libertà che viene ispirato dalla natura.

Siamo arrivati alla fine di questo racconto, felici ed entusiasti delle scoperte fatte facendo una semplice passeggiata, ci siamo concessi un ultimo sguardo dall'alto della scalinata di Santa Lucia, dove pensieri liberi accarezzano la nostra mente per un istante, per poi ripartire verso nuovi orizzonti, carichi di entusiasmo per aver scoperto qualcosa di nuovo e con ancor più consapevolezza, che c'è un mondo da scoprire ogni giorno, è giusto dietro l'angolo.
