Top Pick: Articles to read with your morning coffee.

More than a year ago, Russia invaded Ukraine. Everyone, especially the Russian government, thought that this war would be short and the West would not have time to react properly to hurt the Russian economy. One year later, we see that this war is far from over, and it is very costly for Russia, which is constantly trying to regroup and better plan the next phase, which will probably be even bloodier than the previous one.

From the articles I have been reading in the past few days, I can safely assume that the war is entering the next phase, and more and more nations are providing the Ukrainian Armed Forces with even more weapons to better defend themselves and hurt the Russian military forces even more. We are even at the point where aircraft are being provided to Ukraine. The first nation to provide them was Poland, and now Slovakia will provide the Ukrainian Armed Forces with their whole Mig-19 fighter jets fleet .

Finally, the International Criminal Court issued an arrest warrant for Putin. Of course, they won't arrest him because it will be almost impossible, but the move is a sign of how polarized the West is with Russia.
