En esta maravillosa oportunidad, como primera publicación quiero hablarles acerca de mi morrocoya la cuál tiene por nombre "Marilú", solo puedo decir que es un nombre que escogí cuando era niña, pero no está nada mal, me sigue gustando aún.♡

Ahora bien, tiene aproximadamente 7 años con nosotros, ya que me la regalaron cuando estaba diminuta, en ese entonces tenía yo 10 años de edad y estaba muy felíz de tenerla porsupuesto, desde entonces ha sido mi pequeña amiguita.

Now, she has been with us for about 7 years, since she was given to me when she was tiny, at that time I was 10 years old and I was very happy to have her of course, since then she has been my little friend.

Está tortuga en la actualidad no tiene un gran tamaño apesar del tiempo que tiene, no estoy segura a qué se deba, tal vez porque se la mantiene la mayor parte del tiempo en un espacio un poco pequeño. Se puede decir que Marilú es tranquila, se la pasa en ciertos lugares y sale poco, por lo que siempre se me pierde de vista y no la encuentro para nada rápido, en cambió su hermanita (la tortuga de mi hermana) le encanta estar por todos lados, si la descuidamos en cualquier momento ya está adentro de la casa, a ella le gusta la aventura un poco más, incluso es más grande que la mía, apesar de que nacieron juntas se ha desarrollado más, tal vez luego haga un post en especial sobre ella para que la conozcan mejor.

You can say that Marilu is quiet, she spends her time in certain places and goes out very little, so she always loses sight of me and I don't find her fast at all, on the other hand her little sister (my sister's turtle) loves to be everywhere, if we neglect her at any time she is already inside the house, she likes adventure a little more, she is even bigger than mine, even though they were born together she has developed more, maybe later I will make a special post about her so you can get to know her better.

Es una tortuguita (morrocoya) muy bonita y de vez en cuando le doy un pequeño baño con agua, con un poco de jabón líquido y un pequeño cepillo, todo esto con mucha paciencia y con cuidado de no lastimarla sin querer, así que la mantengo limpia y coqueta para que de sus paseos por el patio y en el frente de la casa con toda la actitud del mundo.

She is a very pretty little turtle (morrocoya) and from time to time I give her a little bath with water, with a little liquid soap and a small brush, all this with a lot of patience and with care not to hurt her unintentionally, so I keep her clean and flirtatious so she can walk around the yard and in front of the house with all the attitude in the world.

De niña al llegar no pregunté nisiquiera si era hembra o macho, solo la elegí como hembra y le coloque el nombre a mi elección, hace un tiempo sin tener idea aún, mi prima pequeña me comentó que tiene una tortuguita pequeña que se llama Sofía y le pregunté cómo sabía que era hembra y me dijo que le enseñaron a diferenciarlas debido a la parte de abajo del caparazón, ya que cuando está plana de alguna manera significa que es hembra y sí está hundido significa que es macho, así que me di la tarea de investigar si era cierto y sí, en efecto, incluso descubrí que esa parte del cuerpo de la tortuga se llama "Plastrón" y encontré palabras más técnicas que lo explicaban, así que puedo decir que es interesante como verdaderamente cada día aprendemos algo nuevo, incluso nos enseñan los niños, que maravilla.
