June 04, 2022 at a classic car event and there was a model of a FIAT that I did not know, a Pininfarina124 DS. The production of the 124 runs from 1966 to 1985. Although I am Italian, I admit that, I did not know this model of car produced by the best known Italian car manufacturer. In fact, it must be said that most of the sales took place in the United States of America.
This Sport Spider passenger car mounted a four-cylinder engine and had a top speed of 170 kilometers per hour.
The Fiat 124 sport spider was designed and also produced by Pininfarina. Pininfarina is an Italian company that still works in the field of car bodies. The design of the car was done by Tom Tjaarda, a designer from the United States who did his work mainly here in Italy. He has worked not only for Fiat but also for Ferrari and De Tomaso.
The car had radial tires, disc brakes, a five-speed manual gearbox and was rear-wheel drive.
In its time this passenger car was the most affordable with a twin-shaft engine. The twin-shaft engine is an engine in which the timing is done with two camshafts.
Searching a bit among the various classic car sites, it seems that the value of this car today is around 20,000 €.

Il 04 giugno 2022 ad una manifestazione di auto d’epoca e c’era una modello di una FIAT che non conoscevo, una Pininfarina124 DS. La produzione della 124 va dal 1966 al 1985. Pur essendo io italiano, ammetto che, non conoscevo questo modello di macchina prodotto dalla casa automobilistica italiana più conosciuta. Infatti bisogna dire che la maggior parte delle vendite è avvenuta negli Stati Uniti d’America.
Questa autovettura Sport Spider montava un motore da quattro cilindri ed aveva una velocità massima di 170 km all’ora.
La Fiat 124 sport spider fu progettata e anche prodotta da Pininfarina. La Pininfarina è un’azienda italiana che lavora tuttora nel settore delle carrozzerie per automobili. Il design dell’autovettura fu curato da Tom Tjaarda, un designer statunitense che ha svolto la sua attività principalmente qui in Italia. Egli ha lavorato, oltre che per la Fiat, anche per Ferrari e De Tomaso.
L’autovettura aveva pneumatici radiali, freni a disco, cambio manuale con cinque rapporti ed era trazione posteriore.
A suo tempo questa autovettura era la più abbordabile con motore bialbero. Il motore bialbero è un motore in cui la distribuzione avviene con due alberi a camme.
Cercando un po’ tra i vari siti di auto d’epoca sembra che il valore di questa autovettura oggi si aggiri intorno ai 20.000 €.

Usually the cars that come out of the production of this car manufacturer do not have such a beautiful design. Being also Italian I absolutely did not know the production of this car. Bella davvero e per essere un'auto d'epoca direi che 20K euro è un prezzo contenuto (paragonato a quello di magari una porche), ma utilizzabile solo in estate e non solo in Italia, dato che non è coperta. Purtroppo a viaggiare scoperchiati, per utenti dotati di un sistema immunitario da catasta significa bronchiti, polmoniti e altri accidenti che sogliono colpire l'apparato respiratorio, purtroppo🤒
Vero! È una macchina bellissima, ma giusto per fare qualche viaggetto qua e là. La vedo molto utile come autovettura per girare sul lungomare della riviera e godersi una bella giornata di sole. Per una famiglia che deve fare lunghi viaggi non credo sia adatta, per chi deve effettuare carichi corposi con valigie non è adatta, per fare viaggi lunghi in autostrada non credo sia adatta. Di questa autovettura però rimane la sua bellezza e la sua eleganza.
Ma potersi permettere un'autovettura separata, per quanto a prezzo contenuto per essere d'epoca, da utilizzare unicamente a quello scopo, è roba da ricchi, al massimo da alto-borghesi, specie se amano ostentare:

Grazie per essere passato di qua… Quando l’ho vista sono rimasto ammaliato. Poi quando ho visto il marchio Fiat mi sono davvero stupito. Ammetto che non conoscevo affatto questo modello di autovettura della Fiat. A mio avviso un’autovettura molto bella ed elegante. Nel fare questo post mi sono informato su questa autovettura ed ho compreso anche perché molti non la conoscono, le vendite sono avvenute soprattutto negli Stati Uniti. Inoltre il design è stato curato da una persona che ha lavorato sia in Ferrari che in De Tommaso, questo spiega anche la bellezza eccessiva che ha questa autovettura, una sorta di bellezza che non ti aspetteresti da una macchina di produzione Fiat. !PIZZA

Confermo che anche a me piace tantissimo il suo design, autovettura perfetta per farsi una sorta di passeggiata d’estate sul lungomare in una bella giornata di sole. Non mi ricordo quale sito ho usato per la sua valutazione, anche perché per cercare la sua valutazione ho usato diversi siti di auto usate e auto d’epoca, comunque l’ho trovata in tre siti ed il prezzo andava dai 18.000 ai 22.000 €, quindi ho praticamente fatto una sorta di media e ho visto che poteva appunto costare sui 20.000 €. Infatti nel terzo sito, l’ultimo in cui ho cercato, segnalava il prezzo di quell’autovettura dell’83 proprio a 20.000 €. Ammetto che non conoscevo affatto questa autovettura splendida della Fiat e sinceramente mi aspettavo anche di vedere un prezzo molto più alto di questa autovettura d’epoca.

È una buona macchina, il suo prezzo è comodo, ma aggiungerei più soldi e comprerei un altro modello, cioè è più per camminare e metterla in mostra che per usarla in altre attività come la mia, a volte porto un carico pesante
Hai ragione, è un’autovettura con cui sarebbe bello fare un giro sul lungomare con una giornata di sole. Non so quanto sia utile per fare altre cose. Comunque, a me piace molto. Non sapevo che in tutta la produzione FIAT ci fosse una macchina così bella
