Direct Mail..? Are Businesses Missing a Trick?

I don't get much direct mail in the post these days - I bet you don't either...

I do get lots of emails though - I bet you do too.

Most get deleted. Quickly.

Direct mail is something tangible. I have to physically open it. So I read it.

A certain company has been sending me direct mail to my business for months. Maybe years.

I open their mail and I read it. But I'd never bought anything.

Until yesterday, when I placed an order with them in response to their latest letter (it is not for an insubstantial result for them either).

Persistence pays. Plus the right medium helps.

Are businesses missing a trick? Is it time to incorporate more 'analogue' marketing into the mix..?
