Web3 Everywhere. Yet Hive is Nowhere to be Seen...
Right now it seems that every podcast, Twitter post, blog post or any other online social media post seems to be talking about Web3.
It seems like it's time has come. Which should be great news for Hive....
Yet everywhere I see a post for web3, Hive is nowhere to be seen...
The question is: Why is this? Why is Hive going undiscovered (when its moment of glory should've arrived)? What is Hive doing wrong? What is Hive missing?
Now, I am not one to go around spamming Twitter and every other social media platform with references and directions to Hive. After all, the cool kids tend to find the cool stuff without any help from the likes of people like me. So why aren't the cool kids finding it? Maybe Hive just isn't cool enough?
"Build it and they will come" so the saying goes. We've done a bloody good job of building a bloody good bonfire that should be tempting for more people to come and join the party. But they're not. Why not?
I can't remember the exact date when the fork from steem happened, but it is a number of years ago and, given the growth in crypto, I am surprised to find us still in this position. Relatively undiscovered.
Don't get me wrong. I'm not losing faith. I'm just a little confused as to why it is being missed (repeatedly)?
Can anyone shed any light?
