The shortest of winning margins meant our selection came home in second place, having chased the leaders early on, outpaced a little reaching 2 furlongs to go, then picked up strongly approaching the final furlong making a sustained challenge on the leader, leading narrowly in the final 150 yards, before being pipped by a nose on the line.
