However, the experts suggest that the best way to determine which app to use is to investigate where most of the coffee shop customers hang out online. That would be the key to more exposure.

That's absolutely true, especially for men who need a place to escape from work and home. Coffee shops offer men to have a comfortable private space to be alone.
This social media is indeed very unique, users of facebook, twitter, instagram or tiktok have different preferences and users. I'm making observations about it, and occasionally discussing it with my friends. I have a small business, but still having trouble finding the right social media promotion platform.
