Ending The Old Year & Welcoming In The New Year!! (113th LADIES OF HIVE CONTEST)

Every Year must come to an end and as we move into a new year many have traditions/superstitions and the like. My tradition just involves me & my husband. As long as we are together is all that matters to me.

I choose to answer both questions in this weeks contest because the answers are so short to both of them.

Header 31️⃣ What do you plan to do on the 31st right at midnight?

Well this is fairly easy. At midnight 31, December I will toast in the New Year with my husband followed by a kiss to start the New Year.

Header 32️⃣ What plans do you have for January 1st?

Then on January 1st I will be right here on Hive! I may take time to watch a little TV, or do something with my husband. As I have gotten older, I'm not into partying in the new year & sleeping half the 1st away or even going to others houses. Sometimes I do go to my daughters, but I'm not sure about this year. I will basically do whatever it is that my husband wants to do. It's not a big deal to me, and my only thing is I like to be with him when the year ends & when the new year arrives, other than that, it's just another day or the 1st day of the year.

Typically we have a very low key New Years. I depends on when it falls, actually. Since it's Sunday this year, my husband and I will probably be asleep since we have to be up the next day for church services, especially since our pastor will be gone and my husband will be preaching. Don't want to be late when you're the preacher! LOL

Thanks for the invite for Ladies of Hive, I've gone over there and followed. I don't have time today to take a close look, but I'll get to that probably tomorrow.

Low key is best, I don't like the loud & all out stuff anymore, besides, it's really just another day. I do like to stay up to see the new year come in but it's off to bed shortly after that.

'Ladies of Hive' have a new topic every week so it's always there when you have time & they give you a LOH token for every entry. I do it several times a year but not every week. Sometimes it's an opportunity for me to get an extra post in during the week.
