It's Flashback Friday Time!! | HiveBloPoMo

Hello, this is me back in 2019, & It's 'Flashback Friday'!

It's good to revisit the past through old pics, but sometimes that also mean reliving the good times with the bad.

Here I am in my new glasses, just picked them up. This is the first pair of glasses that I paid well above the insurance price for & they're name brand. Something being name brand is a big deal for me, I very seldom purchase name brand items. I do have brands that I like but I'm not willing to pay the price for somebody's name. I find just as good of quality at cheaper prices. They're 'Nine West' by the way.

These are photos of me out walking back then. I used to walk about 10 miles everyday back in 2019 & I racked up on AFIT tokens back then. Most days were more then 10,000 activity points. I would get out in all kinds of weather, all times of the year. I did this for over a year & wish I had what it takes to do it again. So many health issues now & the fact that things have gotten so bad scares me just a little.

This was an awesome vacation with my sister-in-law (may she R.I.P.) & her husband. For me this was a vacation within a vacation. I went to Tennessee to visit my mother and had planned to be gone for about a month, so when my husband decided that he wanted to take this trip, I made plans to meet him so we could enjoy time with his sister & husband, & I'm so glad we did because this was the last family trip we had with her before she was called home last year.

This was a great time for me, it's the day before my birthday & our cousin is getting married. We had a great time at the wedding & reception. And since it was also my birthday the next day, you can say I bought it in with a bang. The party continued at the couples house and let's just say that my husband drank light that night cause he had to get us home.

WOW! Ain't God good! He Blessed me with a granddaughter & a great-granddaughter all on the same day within the same hour. Thank God I didn't have to be with both. I was with my son (R.I.P.), when his 2nd daughter arrived. I got to welcome little Sophia into the world shortly after she arrived.

Under that is the second blessing God bestowed upon me that very same day. Look at baby Mylah! I didn't get to see her til the next day but I made it. She arrived shortly after Sophia but she was across town in a different hospital.

And the Blessing just keep coming! This is a grandson born in December. I have so many grandchildren I lost count, like 26 I think. I know I have 7 great- grands.

Well I probably could go on & on about old times, god & sad, but I must close this post at some point. I could probably write a book with all my pictures. This is the one thing I truly love about cellphones, you're always ready to take a picture.
