Kitchen Tips and Tricks

Some of us like to cook, some of us don't. Irrespective of whether you like it or not, the fact is, you have to cook because it's necessary for your own survival. Afterall, you can't rely on outside food, pizzas and burgers all your life.

While cooking looks combursome to some of us, there are certain tips and tricks which cna make your kitchen time really comfortable.

Once you go through these tricks and start following, hopefully you will not find kitchen too unexciting and laborious. Let's learn!

Tip #1 - Keep the peeled off onion in freezer before chopping/slicing it

Tears while cutting onion is one of the most common problems for cooks and chefs. No tears anymore! Before you start chopping, allow your onion to freee in freezer for about 10 minutes. This subsides the stingy, water releasing chemical in the onion and doesn't not let tears roll out of your eyes for no reason.

Tip #2 - Soak the garlic cloves in water before peeling

Garlic cloves can be hard to peel, especially the smaller cloves. Not a problem anymore. Just immerse them in cold water for 10 minutes. The peel will become soft and will come out easily without even using a knife.

Tip #3 - Scrambled Eggs in Microwave

You don't need a pan and oil to prepare scrambled eggs. Just break the egg in a bowl, add the veggies and salt and microwave for 1 minute. You get your delicious scrambled eggs in a minute. Tadaa!!

Tip #4 - Freeze your iced tea

No need to make ice tea again and again. Simply freeze it in ice tray. Whenever you wish to have it, just put some cubes in a glass, add a little water and allow it 2-3 minutes to melt. Your Icey ice tea will be ready in a minute.

Tip #5 - Expedite fruit ripening using paperbags

If you've got fruits which are not perfectly ripe and cannot be consumed, don't think that you have to throw them out. Just keep them in a paper bag and keep in your OTG/Microwave overnight. Next morning, you will have some fresh, nicely riped fruits to eat.
