Bad Monday Luck - Laptop

Monday blues ~~~~ Plus with bad luck that happened on me.

During the peak season for accounting work currently, my employees and I have to work on Sunday for overtime to reduce the workloads that we have to meet the deadline. One of the work laptops used by my employee suddenly break down. That laptop was unable to power up. It also keeps the documentation that my employee currently works on which I need to use urgently as my client keeps asking for an extract of the financial report on it. The worst is the latest work done, my employee did not make any backup on it 😭.

Thus, have to bring this laptop to repair on the next day, Monday. I expected this laptop will be fixed on the same day. However, when I follow up with the repairman on the laptop's status at night, I got the result from the repairman said he still cannot detect what is the cause of the laptop's faulty. The repairman said he might need an additional day or more to fix it 🤦.

In the meantime, I have to lend my personal laptop to my employee to use to do the other job while waiting for her work laptop fixed. Another unfortunate event happen to me again, I forgot to bring the power supply charger (it's in my house). My laptop also left less than an hour of battery left to use 😂. I just ask my employee to do runner work outside and can return home early as she can't do anything without a work laptop.

Tuesday now, I hope I get good news from the repairman today as I need the documentation inside urgently 😔.

Lesson learn, MUST ALWAYS BACKUP YOUR WORK DOCUMENTS.
