An interviewee said not knowing whether to believe anything on the internet (Twitter) anymore, due to abuse of the blue checkmark and I thought "wasn't it always like that?" We can't verify everything, but I would suggest to check multiple sources. What would you advice? #dbuzz
I have been laughing my arse off over the whole thing. I can't believe that people are so gullible to make INVESTMENT DECISIONS based off of a tweet. Without checking it, even.
Especially with the rise of spoof account scammers, always imitating people on Instagram or YouTube, and trying to scam people, why wouldn't people check first?! All you gotta do is go to their account and see that it's new/they have no or few followers/you aren't already following them/things like that to figure out it's not real.
My word, it's like people have never been on the internet before.

My thoughts exactly when the interviewee gave that answer! Even hardcopy "published" works can be questioned, let alone on the internet.

Ah yes, forgot that option.
