This is the shadow of the small bridge divider that I took during the day. A small bridge located between Meunasah Asan village and Blang Kabu village, Samudera sub-district, North Aceh district.

This bridge used to be made of bamboo from the results of community assistance funds from several villages. Now the bridge has been made into a permanent concrete bridge. The bridge built over the dead river is the main infrastructure in the Samudera sub-district. Even though the river is no longer functioning, it is normal when a flood occurs, the river functions to accommodate and absorb the remaining flood water in a neighboring village.

Ini adalah bayangan dari pembatas jembatan kecil yang saya ambil pada waktu siang hari. Sebuah jembatan kecil yang terletak di antara desa Meunasah Asan dan Desa Blang Kabu kecamatan Samudera Kabupaten Aceh utara. Jembatan ini dulu terbuat dari bambu dari hasil dana bantuan masyarakat dari beberapa desa. Sekarang jembatan itu sudah dibuat menjadi jembatan beton permanen. Jembatan yang dibangun di atas sungai mati itu menjadi prasarana utama di kecamatan Samudera. Meskipun sungai itu sudah tidak berfungsi lagi, tapi biasa ketika banjir terjadi, sungai tersebut berfungsi untuk menampung dan menyerap air sisa banjir di desa tetangga.

Now the bridge is a very vital facility because the route is a link to several villages, namely Ujong Village, Blang Kabu Village, and Mancang Village.

There are several things that are very unfortunate, namely the lack of concern for maintaining the bridge, from a physical point of view, we can already guess that the bridge cannot withstand large trucks, but there are still careless drivers who pass through the bridge plus the local people throw garbage there until it smells bad and makes the river shallow.

Sekarang jembatan tersebut menjadi fasilitas yang sangat vital karena jalur itu adalah penghubung dengan beberapa desa yaitu Desa Ujong, Desa Blang Kabu, Dan Desa Mancang. Ada beberapa hal yang sangat disayangkan adalah kurang rasa kepedulian untuk menjaga jembatan itu, dilihat dari segi fisiknya kita sudah bisa menebak yang bahwa jembatan itu tidak tahan dengan truk bermuatan besar, tapi masih ada juga supir nakal yang melewati jembatan itu ditambah lagi masyarakat sekitar membuang sampah disitu hingga menimbulkan bau busuk dan membuat sungai itu menjadi dangkal.
