Conceptual Studio Photoshoot : Geisha
This is another conceptual photoshoot that I did with @tommyl33 years back.
This Photoshoot concept was called "Geisha"
Geisha also knows as Geiko or Geigi are female Japanese performance artist and entertainer that being trained to perform the traditional Japanese dance, music and singing.

It was very challenging to do the photoshoot. At first we arrived on the new studio, the air conditioner was not yet available. So we had to use only the fan.
Luckily one of the room inside the studio which is the office had small AC, so all the makeup, hairdo and wardrobe was done inside that room while us the photographer had to setup the props on the set without any AC. Imagine how hot it is inside a studio with only fan? And to be honest the outcome really paid of all the sweat!
Here are the photos taken after retouched. I hope you guys will like it.

Very cool pics! Were these for a specific purpose or just for fun. love the choices of colours! When you say how hot? What's the average temperature outside? Lol which city or town were you shooting in? I need to know how hot!
This photoshoot was just for fun, just for bonding and shares knowledge with other photographers, makeup artists and the models. And those color was randomly picked 🤣 lucky it turn out good.
That time the temperature was about 32 degree Celsius outside, but on the inside I am not sure but we already sweating like a bucket of water xD
We traveled to Sandakan which is on the Southern East of Sabah. The city is near to the ocean. You can feel the humidity and it feels heavy when you walk outside :O or maybe its just me >..<
32 is pretty hot. I googled Sabah but not sure 9f it's in Malaysia or Philippines. Google gives me conflicting info. I have spent a few days in Malaysia and the 32 degrees there is way hotter than here in Cape Town. So I can just imagine how you guys were sweating buckets with no Aircon!! 😱
