A Quick Guide to Hive-Engine Mining & Investment Tokens

Here on the Hive ecosystem there exists many ways to earn. There are earnings for posting quality content, and there’s earning for upvoting and curation great content written by other authors.

Today we’ll take a quick look at a very cool but slightly hidden way to earn passive income. Passive income is the best way to earn, in my opinion. You’ll earn literally while you sleep, or even better, you’ll earn passively while you focus on other active income sources.

Of course, probably all Hive veterans knows about this, but newer Hivers might have missed it. Personally I stumbled upon this most by accident. When looking into the ARCHON token on Hive-Engine, I found a token called ARCHONM, the Archon Miner token.

The Archon Miner token is a Digital Miner, which by the simple act of owning the token, it mines new ARCHON tokens for you passively. Pretty interesting, I’d say.

There exists more than these but these are some of the most popular ones, and I have already invested in some of them and soon will be invested in all of them.

Hive-Engine Miner Tokens

These are Digital miners which mines or mints new tokens when held in your portfolio. Some of them needs to be staked, others do not.

WORKERBEE

The WORKERBEE miner mines BEE tokens passively. This miner should be staked to earn the rewards. The max supply of the miner is 1T.

ARCHONM

This miner token passively mines ARCHON tokens. You’ll get a small reward in HIVE as well, at random. This miner also mines a few other smaller tokens, but those rewards are small and secondary, more like a bonus. There’s no need to stake this miner. It has a very small max supply of only 1K.

LEOM & LEOMM

Here we have a pair of miners, Leo Miner and Leo Mega Miner. Both work the same, they passively mines LEO tokens when staked. The LEOMM is four times as effective as LEOM. This does mean that there’s no point in buying a LEOMM if the current price of four LEOM are cheaper. The max supply of LEOM is 150K, 15K for LEOMM, currently but the total max supply seems to be 1B each.

PALM & PALMM

This works the same as the Leo miners, but passively mines PAL tokens. They should be staked to earn rewards. The max supply is 1B each.

CTPM

This Click-Track-Profit miner passively mines CTP tokens for you when the miner is staked. The max supply is 1B, but the total supply is currently limited to nearly 262K.

Hive-Engine Investment Tokens

These are not mining tokens, but are so called investment tokens. Their aim is to provide profit for their holders. Usually these investment tokens own many mining tokens from which they get their earning.

DHEDGE

There’s no need to stake this investment token, just hold it. It has a max supply of 500K. It rewards a wide array of tokens.

UTOPIS

This is a bit special, but so very cool. The earnings seems to mainly come from Ethereum mining and Doordashing, with a long term plan to expand the Ethereum mining business. The max supply is 1M. Rewards are paid out in Hive. Utopis does not need to be staked, but you’ll earn a bonus reward for having it staked.

BRO

No need to stake it, simply hold it and reap the rewards. It’s max supply is 5M. BRO rewards in several different tokens.

This is just a very shallow look at the, to me, coolest mining tokens and investment tokens currently on the Hive-Engine.

If there are some truly interesting project that I’ve missed, I’d love for you to tell me about it in a comment.

Happy investing!

I have been seeing the Token miner on HE but haven't been able to understand much about it ,now glad I can get the idea behind it.

If I may ask is it more profitable to buy miner like leom than buying leo and stacking?

I would like to test it out sometime too in the future and see which one is more profitable.

I haven’t done the calculations either. To me, investing in these miners at this time is more about testing and getting to know all aspects if the Hive ecosystem. Might do a deeper profitability comparison some time later!

Yes you are right it's more than important to diversify into other things that hive offers.

Who knows, minners might be a big thing in the future. I hope to test out the miners soon too.

Thanks for the feedback.
