The Fall Of Twitter, The Rise Of Leothreads.
So Twitter announced that all verified accounts would start paying a fee of $20, not once but every month for being verified on their platform. This just adds to the many reasons why Twitter is becoming unappealing to most users and several people are beginning to look for alternatives.
Besides the fees we currently know, Leothreads already has everything Elon Musks seems to want Twitter to be. I still don't know how he's gonna swiftly convert Twittwr to decentralised platform especially when he owns it and makes the call. In my opinion, Twitter will always remain a centralised platform where making profit supercedes the interest of the users and that's obvious with the new fee imposed on all verified accounts. What fees will be next? Monthly subscription/ membership fees?
Also, over the years, Twitter seems keen on not taking some important steps on making their platform one that attracts users. I mean besides the trending news most people go there for snd updates on certain matters, there has been no major developments there. Even an edit feature that could help at of content creators and userss has been so difficult to implement.
Like most big tech companies, I think Twitter is about to meet its fall, not exactly sure how this would happen but the future of social media and content creation is decentralization. I think Leothreads is up for big things and it's time to shine is getting closer than we can imagine. It's free totally free to use, has no extra fees for reps, has awesome features absent on Twitter like the Edit feature and is truly decentralised. You also don't get paid by Twitter for using Twitter. So this is basically a big way Leothreads beat Twitter hands down and so I think it's just amatter of time before Leothreads get the attention it' deserves.
The $20 verification might not really go well with so many individuals right now, but of all it good that will also have leothreads too, I won't be surprised if user's here abandon their Twitter account to focus on threads along tur line

Yeah, but Leothreads is still at its early stage, way early and need a lot of marketing to get users to leave Twitter for it. But i believe it could happen in the nearest future when Hive would have gained more grounds.
This is outrageous. How could Twitter want to charge $20? Well, that is the disadvantage of a centralized platform like Twitter and soon, it will be losing many people and its fall is inevitable. The best is for social media to be decentralized so you can have control over what you do. This is where Leothreads is the best.
Yeah, decentralisation is the future of Social media. People ate beginning to see just how important it is, and I believe platforms like LeoThreads would lead in the nearest future

Leo Threads is nowhere near Twitter, still have a lot of development to do, and need way more active users. Twitter feeds is constant, Threads is still an infant at this stage.
Yeah, many news outlet had the fee at $20 initially, it's now $8 but still doesn't change the fact that this is could lead to more fees and demands for Twitter users in the future. Man's just trying to get all the money he spent back I guess. And I agre, Leothreads is still pretty far from becoming the next Twitter, but we see the growth.
