There Are No Excuses/ Justifications For Internet Fraud.

Last night, I went out with some buddies to cool off since its been a long week and the restaurant we visited had a group of young men with their table next to ours. From their conversation, it was obvious these young men were internet fraudsters but I was gonna mind my business and just hangout with my friends. But after a while hearing them loudly talk about their activities, victims and the absurd things they've been using the money gotten from their victims for, it just broke my heart to see young people taking pride in being crime and act like its nothing/ their actions are justified.

So far, the most popular justifications for internet fraud has been that "The government didn't provide a good country, there are no jobs for the youths and the victims deserved it because they had also stolen from them", but over the years, this has become one of the dumbest excuses I've ever heard. There's no doubt that the government the countries with high fraud rate are themselves a huge part of the problem, but two wrongs don't make a right. If everyone had this excuse, then nothing stops everyone from becoming scammers, robbers, kidnappers.

I once heard a possible fraudster saying every jobless youth is into fraud and then it was clear that these individuals either lie to themselves or choose to believe in their own delusions because that isn't true. Many young people I know who had difficulties getting the job of their dreams either went ahead to learn other skills of high demand or started something on their own with all they've learnt, as it should be in a sane environment. Fraud was never an option. Not that these young people weren't smart enough to become fraudsters, but they were contented with what they had, they were hopeful, and they didn't stop believing in the power of hardwork, self development and education.

Well, internet fraud flourishes in places like this because of the high level of corruption and since there are no strict laws on crime (laws are adjusted according to how fat your pocket is). The police also uses the opportunity to stack their bags by taking bribes from suspected fraudsters. A perfect fit!!!

It's quite funny how many of these fraudsters still scam people when they move to countries where things work. Is this also the government at fault? The simple reason for internet fraud is greed and laziness. The same greed that would cause many to steal public funds when they are in position of service, steal from and kill their fellow humans for money. Laziness which also make these people think working hard for money is trash and there's an easy way out (robbers and kidnapper also have this mindset).

Well, this is a topic most people don't like talking about because they feel nothing would change. I do hope for change somehow because this has given the country and its citizens a pretty bad tag and is a slow poison.

Most of these guys know what they are doing is bad. I keep telling people that no matter how much you give information out about being fraudulent people will still indulge.

The problem is not getting the money. That sort of mind set will not allow the money last.
