I remember back then growing up, one of the occupation I hated with passion was a teacher. Well that can look so surprising but that is just the truth.

Even though I came from the family which both my father and my mother is a well known teacher. I don't just like the teaching occupation. I always see it as slaving because back then I always believed the teachers are not recognise and given the perfect recognition they deserve and so it is not worth it.

This low recognition they give teachers back then as times goes on begin to makee develop hatred towards the occupation and I can't just help but let it grow.

Though years come after and it seems those hate have really suppress and then it seems one is getting better and better and to my shock I started developing love towards the occupation.

Well that's not the topic for today and enough of talking, let's get into the topic for today. So many people or let me say teachers have lived with this strong ignorance that they were born to teach and so there is no need for them to learn some skills as a teacher who is planning to pass knowledge to his or her students.

Wait a bit, I am not disagreeing the fact that there are some people born with this teaching skills and just from their childhood, they can effortlessly teach while some as they grow up just need to learn some teaching skills.

Well everybody need to learn teaching skills so it varies as it differs. I have always believed no teacher has know it all when it comes to acquiring some skills needed for effective teaching and knowledge passing. In fact in this world, you can't know it all. The moment you start to think you have know it all, the very moment you have started nearing to destruction.

I have come to think that it is not about who know it all but about those who are still ready to learn more. Let's come to think of it. The more you learn, the more you discover you have not know anything.

There are some skills which I believe as a teacher, it is a necessity for you to have for effective teaching towards your students

Communication skills

Well it is not surprising that this comes first . In fact the communication skills has really curb and surround the whole of the other skills needed. As a teacher, if your communication skills is bad, then your teaching is bad and so it will be so difficult for you to pass the knowledge around.

At times some teachers wonder why their students are not just gaining the knowledge they are trying to pass around not knowing to them that their poor communication skills is really contributing and going a long way.

Just like I said, your communication skills curb a lot of additional skills because in your communication skills embedded is your speach skills, that is the manner you talk to your students, do you talk harshly to them.

A lot of teachers are not aware that the way you actually talk to your students can influence their learning readibility and so can affect the knowledge you are trying to pass around

In your communication skills we can also see your writing skills. Well that might not be universal as it is expected that as a teacher you have good writing skills but come to think of it, there are some teachers out their which their writing is quite so poor.

In your communication skills is your reasoning skills. The way you handle things different from the perspective of the way your students might want to handle it.

As a teacher, you are not expected to handle things the same way your students does. You need to have high level of maturity and patience compared to your students and a this is embedded in the reasoning skills.

So many teachers are suffering from poor communication skills and they keep wondering why the knowledge is not passing to the students, it is all point down to your poor communication skills, if only you can work on your communication skills as a teacher, then your students will have more access to gain more knowledge from you
