I've never heard of that type of banana and would not have known what it was if you didn't say it was a banana.
Not visiting the garden for a while and then taking a walk to it had to be fun seeing everything that was doing great.
We also grow lettuce, but never had any luck growing Romaine lettuce, yours looks great. Nothing like harvesting veggies and eating them the same day, so fresh.

This type of banana is not so common I guess. They have very thin skin when ripe and even when ripe, they don't go bad so easily.

It was nice to see the plants still doing well and the weeds growing along with them, lol.

Sorry to hear that you are had not any success growing romaine. They are the easiest for us to grow and we prefer them over the green or red ice.

Very interesting, I love bananas.

I just read an article about bananas by DR. Gundry, a world renowned heart surgeon and medical researcher,

To my total surprise he says that if you eat bananas eat the ones that are still green, not the ripened ones with yellow skin, or overripened ones.

The yellow ones have changed much of what is good for you, into sugars, whereas the green ones are great for gut health.

Romaine lettuce over iceberg lettuce any day.
