The whole voting whenever and knowing 50% comes back to you no matter what, that is a big plus for smaller accounts like me, even your bigger but still somewhat small account. You know you can curate and earn well through LEO without competing to get in before big votes are placed.
My curation efforts properly start to come in next week but will give me more of an idea of what my vote can get me and I am getting some done right now due to heading out later, not return until tomorrow and should have near 100% VP once more.
Curation trails are great if you have less time which is why I haven't gone into one, I have the time and it keeps me busy so I can work on building myself up in communities and other places.

You're absolutely right. One of the alternatives to improve our rewards is to buy more LEO to increase our participation, so the curation rewards will always increase faster, but we must not forget that commenting and creating articles are great ways to earn more LEO for free.
Both ways are interesting and depending on our strategies we can see which one fits us best.
I hope your rewards will increase more and more and help add more value to our community.
