My Latest Real World Investment - Already in Profit and I Paid Retail!
What’s up everyone! So with supply chains acting crazy, store shelves getting bare, I wanted to make sure I was covered for a while…
I love shopping at this one particular regional department store because they usually have some good deals on stuff.
I ended up picking up 3 buckets and 20 individual pouches of freeze dried emergency food. This stuff lasts until like 2050 so it is a long term investment.
Hell, I purchased it as an investment! The best thing about the purchase was that I am already in profit based on online prices by at least 10-15% on the most expensive individual pouches and probably 20% on the ones in the buckets! It was a no brainer kind of investment.
And for the Mountain House stuff I will say it is actually pretty good food!
I ate the Pad Thai packet and it wasn’t bad! I over watered it so you need to get the water right for sure.
So we may be seeing a new product coming soon to the Hivelist store? And if not and I don’t end up selling them, I have food stashed away that will stay good for like 30 years… Not a bad investment!

Nah, freeze dried foods, when done right can last that long. They are actually pretty good! I just found out to the place that makes them is like an hour from me, so that’s cool. At least it’s not some Chinese made crap, lol
Having that is better than not having it. After all, we never know how long supply side issues will last or how prices will react. In the worst case, you just eat it before it expires.

That was the thought. But then I got excited when I saw what they were selling for online and the fact that I was already in profit paying local retail prices, it was a no brainer, lol. I am all about practical investments. I got some bullets with this too, lol
