Friendship is one of the most important components of life. Friends are always there for one another and willing to lend a hand.
It is essential to be present when someone asks for help and to take all reasonable measures to protect their safety because a friend in need is a friend indeed.
This phrase means that when someone needs help, you should be there for them and do everything you can to ensure their well-being. The world is a less lonely place when you have friends.

Friendships in today's society are frequently spread across the globe or live on the other side of town. They may also have busy schedules that make it difficult to spend time with each other. This can make showing support when someone is in need difficult; however, technology has made this much easier than ever before. People can keep up with their friends' lives through social media sites such as Facebook, Snapchat, and Instagram without having to be physically present in person. Everything is so connected now and so are friends.
