I caught a lot of flak for flagging haejin, but I knew it was the right thing to do. Now we're all benefiting from it.

Poker GTO = Good for fishy, like position hunting.

Against Other Grinder, balance.

:)

Custom Jsons are the superpower of Hive. Execution of smart contracts is pretty stupid on Layer 1, expect a balance transfer.

HAF will be big.

It would be fabulous to learn and to be able to develop a great part of all that world of information that you present with such pleasant explanations. Yes for some users your words are hard, for others they are received as a true fact.
Greetings @theycallmedan

Sería fabuloso aprender y poder desarrollar gran parte de todo ese mundo de información que usted presenta con tan amena explicaciones. Sí para algunos usuarios se hacen duras sus palabras, para otros la reciben como un hecho verdadero.
Saludos @theycallmedan

Smartcontracts can be massive, so trying to cram all that custom data into blocks just seems well, dumb. Blockchain bloat should be avoided at all costs, keep it light and nimble.

Hive has almost everything we need for this allready. Free transactions and full confirms in 3-sec or less being a huge part of that (ETH, LOL). Once smartcontracts, recurring/automated transfers and ACCS with other fast chains is done, and trustless, imo Hive really has the foundation to replace the entire current economic system.

If you want to hide money, then use XMR or Oxen or something. For me, I prefer the transparency of Hive as a currency because for example, when I pay my monthly homeowner's dues, I want to see exactly what they are spending our money on. Everything in my community here needs to be audited on a regular basis (what are the gardeners, pool boys, cleaning staff, maintenance guys and department heads doing with our money). The employees themselves should be able to see if they're getting screwed or not.

Transparency is the ultimate truth machine.

You "raise your hand" to "signal to the network".. I love that analogy because it perfectly states what an EFFICIENT network like Hive will do. Keep your dapp/app lightweight, and it only bothers the network when it absolutely needs to.

"You can't write theory about a gym, if you've never been in a gym" - Spot on.

I love these tech ramblings, you bring up points that most crypto people are afraid to talk about because they fear retribution from whales, the maxis, "alt"-coiners or whatever. When opinions become "hate speech", we've lost. We must say and DO what is necessary to render their current construct obsolete. #countereconomics

Congratulations @theycallmedan! You have completed the following achievement on the Hive blockchain And have been rewarded with New badge(s)

You received more than 760000 HP as payout for your posts, comments and curation.
Your next payout target is 765000 HP.
The unit is Hive Power equivalent because post and comment rewards can be split into HP and HBD

You can view your badges on your board and compare yourself to others in the Ranking

Great share as always 👍

No idea wtf more than half of it means but it set some light-bulbs (and alarm bells) off so thanks.

Gonna listen again (and again... an prolly again) and ponder and, inevitably, learn. (hopefully)

Still don't see how human nature can be combined with financial incentive and have any kind of happy ending. 'Tis what it is.

Now doing more learning on how account value of witnesses influences governance (if it does?)

I only understand this in relation to censorship and it isn't ideal, in my very noob opinion. At all.

Why not remove option to delegate entirely then? Makes sense? And following voting trails. Any automation, in fact. Keep it real and simple.

Also... multiple accounts - again. Can't work out for decentralization in the end... surely? But I'm really new to this!

And multiple accounts and community voting trails are... well... you know this part for sure.

Will go over again and learn slowly. It's fucking huge, huh?

In line with your analogy...

what you have is then a team working together during the poker game against one player.

Without keeping things un-automated and one user / one community per person, surely?

The antithesis of what I hope is the goal. :/

SPAM alert (sorry)

And I am a noob but:

Not capping HP and not forcing one user one account per user is counterintuitive to where I'm understanding we (hopefully, again) want this to go?

Why not convert HP in accounts, every month/week, to HBD for users and HP goes back to a set amount to keep things equal? Users can save, stake or withdraw or whatever. Keeps the incentive but stops the "human nature"?

Human nature isn't complicated.

Motivation is based on survival.

Survival in this day and age is proportionately linked to income. Which is directly linked to power.

If not it just becomes messy and seems less trustworthy because multi-level players.

Anyway. I will learn more about all this. Thanks 👍

Now I'm gonna go and make more free content to help people that may get down-voted randomly, or ignored, because one, two, three, four, I declare a whale war and all that human nature stuff.

Good thing I don't do it for the money :D

Cryptoworld is shown in mainstream as a big piramid of virtual money used for bad things. But if you want to seek your own it turns that it's so lot things to know to be part of this market and be safe. And even more dificult when you are not very good in english.

Young people try to understand something, but what can do older people?
