I agree, the HIVE protocol is very rare with abundant technology.

A distributed, censorship-resistant system built to retain value.

It makes sense to keep building here in the bear market, doesn't it?

The resiliency of this protocol will shine through the current noise eventually. Awoo! awoo! awoo!

How do we build, do buy more Hive or do we shift efforts to learning coding? I am really lost as to how we do this.

I see you're a doctor, musician and illustrator.

  • You can consider accepting HIVE as payment for your consultations
  • you can sell your illustrations for HIVE
  • you can create NFTs of your music
  • You can Host music contest
  • You can create a behavioral science community
  • You can create a DHF proposal to host a HIVE event

By doing any of these you are increasing the uses of the HIVE token and helping develop a circular economy within the HIVE ecosystem. This will attract more users to the blockchain, and the network effect itself will grow the circular economy and attract more users.

If you're business minded, you might be able to identify something that needs to be built on HIVE and hire developers to help you. Of course, you can learn coding yourself and build something with it.

Hope that helps.

I see exactly what you are talking about now.

The first option would be something like sensitization, lucky I come from a country where there is almost 50% adoption of crypto, Hive would be significantly less but it's worth a try

I can and have sold my illustration for HBD, Hive would be scary to sell for with the current crypto market.

NFT music sounds wonderful!

All the others are great but these are the ones I can apply..

I love these tech ramblings and hope you keep'm coming.

A "way out" imo is to keep building, stay laser focused on building these things that give humanity the way out of this mess.

You can't fight the beast, he's gotten too big. We must render him obsolete.

But how do we render him "obsolete" do we just use Hive? Is that the solution?

Yes, amongst many other methods like going solar instead of paying a monopoly for electricity, or hiring private security instead of relying on a government to protect us, or paying our homeowner's monthly dues in HIVE so that we can monitor what they are spending our money on, or growing some fruit trees and shopping at a (or starting a) local farmer's market.

Providing for ourselves is very rewarding, I just wish more people would try it. 😊

That's very interesting...People take Hive for payment where you are from?

Thousands of front ends for Hive might be only a few years away. If we’re barreling towards GFC 2.0, billions of people may be incentivized to search for a new paradigm. If Hive is the hook for even 0.1% of them to take the leap to account ownership and censorship resistance, boom.

That's are very beautiful statistical analysis of the situation.

Its crazy how Twitter has so many people who are angry about Elon Musk owning Twitter and how there needs to be regulation of speech. People want to fit in so much its crazy. Not saying Twitter is fixed, Elon still owns everything there and its free speech when he says so.

I really hope that the future for Hive is one independent of these platforms, what we have is so beautiful already all we need is greater adoption and we will be on our way.

How do ground workers like me do much for the system though, I am just one person who has some content to share?

It is clear that Hive has the potential and ingredients to lead the Web3 movement, but at the same time, I feel some developments are moving too slowly. We still need a true decentralized second-layer solution and to tell you the truth I am hearing that it will be done since I joined Hive 5 years ago. We need to fix infrastructure if we want to challenge the big boys in crypto and in the web3 space.

I'd really like to know what you think about KOINOS/KOIN; their proof of burn mechanism seems to be even better than dpos. A social dapp on that chain could also much more easily scale as an account simply requires an address (which is free).

That's what i personal like about hive, people get annoyed and emotional about things :D I mean it ends up often in a shitshow and drama. But on the other hand, it shows the people really care :D

Happy 2023 to all!

Hive is one of the only REAL options for web3, and soon the rest of the world will realize this! I am excited to start posting some videos on @threespeak 💪
