My Entry For W33E1 Contest - Personal Experience When Rejection in Business/Work

In this post, I'm back in participating in the Week 33 Contest, Edition 1, which was held by the Hive Learners Community.

Everyone Has Experienced Rejection In terms of wise relationships, or business, or competition Because in living our lives it is definitely not always smooth because there are obstacles such as rejection and others So in this post I want to tell my experience when experiencing rejection in terms of Business / Work.

In 2018, or after I graduated from high school, I attended Aviation Staff Education at one of the Aviation Schools in Jakarta for 6 months, after completing the training we started applying for jobs to several aviation companies in Jakarta at that time and I've had several Times experienced rejection when applying for a job.

Before finally being accepted to work in one of the companies engaged in the aviation sector, I was rejected several times when applying for work and it was a very uncomfortable experience when we were refused to work because we had prepared ourselves carefully before applying for the job.

Job refusal Usually there are openly and some are subtle so as not to hurt the hearts of people who apply for the job, and at that time we were openly rejected by the HRD of the company with unclear reasons and we felt very not appreciated at the time.

But that's our risk as job applicants in other people's companies. Because apart from we have to equip ourselves with the knowledge to take the test interview, we also have to be prepared for the rejection that will occur if we are not accepted to work at the company because our journey in applying for jobs is not will always be smooth and in accordance with what we expect.

Sometimes there are also things that make us disappointed or even make us sad because we are not accepted because we have struggled and tried to apply for jobs at companies that are opening job vacancies but we are instead refused to work there for various reasons given.

But at that time I tried not to dissolve with sadness about the rejection because there were still other companies that would open job vacancies later and sure enough not long after that incident I was accepted to work in one of the other companies engaged in the aviation sector as well.

So that all the rejections when the apply for job have paid off after accepted for work at one of the big companies that many people coveted to work there, and the sadness that I had experienced disappeared in an instant because I was finally accepted to work in one of the companies .

From the incident that we can take the lesson that we should not be sad about one rejection that occurs either in terms of a wise relationship, or business, or competition because there is still a chance to get another one that may be much better than the previous one.

So don't be dissolved with sadness if you experience rejection, whether it's in terms of a wise relationship, or business, or competition. Because there is still another opportunity that we can achieve to forget the sadness of previous rejection.
