My Entry For W33E2 Contest - My Experience When Finding Hidden Talent

Edited Using : Pixellab

Hi Everyone !

In this post, I'm back in participating in the Contest Week 33 Edition 2, which was held by the Hive Learners Community.

Everyone has talent in different things or fields because between talents and hobbies are two different things, and this time I want to tell you about a talent that I discovered when I was in junior high school at that time and unfortunately I didn't hone or improve that talent, and make that talent does not develop.

The talent that I discovered when I was still in junior high school was an artistic talent that turned out to be in me at that time, and one of the artistic talents that I had at that time was drawing. And at that time I usually drew anime characters because almost all the notebooks I used when I was in junior high school were full of pictures of anime characters that I drew using a pen.

I didn't hone my drawing talent so as time went on my drawing talent started to disappear. Especially after graduating from high school, I rarely drew and the talent started to disappear even though the drawings I made when I was in junior high school were pretty good and many people liked it.

Maybe if the artistic talent that I had at that time was honed every day then now I will become an artist, And as I said before that between talent and hobby it is not necessarily unified because sometimes the talent we have will fade by itself because not in Asah.

While still in high school, I also discovered another talent that was still related to art, namely being able to cut a friend's hair using only scissors and razors. Because I live in a hostel, so many of my friends asked me to cut their hair.

At first I just cut the hair of one of my friends and it turned out that the results were very good and almost exactly the same as they cut their hair at the Barbershop, so since then some of my other friends have also asked me to cut their hair.

Cutting hair is not an easy thing because if we don't have the Talent and Skills then we will never be able to cut other people's hair, Unfortunately my talent for cutting hair is no longer I sharpened after graduating from high school and until now I have never again Tried to cut other people's hair other Even though the talent is in me

The talent that we find will disappear by itself over time if it is not honed. So if you find a talent that is not possessed by many, then you have to hone that talent every day so it doesn't get lost and you can use it anytime if you really need it.

The point is that everyone has their own talents and expertise that they find, but it depends on us whether we want to hone the talent that is in us or even let the talent disappear over time.

And until now the artistic talent is still there in me, it's just not being honed and I'm sure if I sharpen the talent I already have then I can have that talent again because before it we already have talent there.

Maybe that's all I can share in the Contest Week 33 Edition 2 this time, see you in the next edition of the contest post.

Talent really don’t improve except we work on them and they are completely different from skills. Just like I said in my post, talent are naturally developed while skills are acquired.

I use to draw when I was in junior school as well, I even earn money from it because my mates are lazy and poor at drawing. We all have got talent and it is important we develop it else they will be gone.

That's very right my friend, if we have talent but we don't develop it then we have wasted the talent we have like what happened to me. 😅

I love artistic talent most especially drawing ❣️. I think you should start thinking about opening a barbing saloon don't allow the later talent to go dormant as the first. You just have to keep polishing it.

Meanwhile, if you would put more effort, you can revive your drawing skill. And i wish you consider it. Sometimes our Talents can be a source of income to us. Who knows what treasure lies In that drawing of yours?

I always say it's not enough to have tried if we're not going to do anything with them. Building those talents is key to being successful. You should really sharpen that talent. You never know where it might take you

That's right my friend, because actually if we want hone the talents we have, it's possible that we can get money from the talents we have.
