Newbies Initiative Task 2 - Hive Guidelines, Markdowns And Use of Tags

Hi Everyone !

After completing the tasks in Week 1, Now it's time to create assignments for week 2 with the theme "Hive Guidelines, Markdowns And Use of Tags". And hopefully in Week 2 of this Newbies Initiative Program, I will again get a positive response from the Newbies Initiative Program Team because their positive response is very valuable to me.

As usual, before being asked the questions that we have to answer on the week 2 assignment in the Newbies Initiative program, we, the participants, were given several guide articles related to this task 2. And I immediately learned all the guidelines in the form of articles provided on this Newbies Initiative Program Discord Channel.

And a few days ago, a Voice Meeting was also held on the Discord Channel #help-meeting regarding the theme for Week 2 of the Newbies Initiative Program. In week 1, the Voice Meeting was guided directly by @starstrings01, while on week 2 it was guided by @samostically.

And here are some questions and answers for this week 2 of the Newbies Initiative Program:

1.How has been your experience with Hive since you joined ?

Since I first joined Hive, I have been welcomed positively by other users who have been active on Hive first, so that's what keeps me motivated to continue to grow at Hive. In my opinion, Hive is not just an ordinary blogging platform because here we actively interact with people in the Community and connect with each other on discord as well.

When I first joined Hive, the thing I was thinking at that time was how to earn big in a short time at Hive. And it turns out that my thinking was wrong, because the real thing I have to do at Hive is to improve the quality of posts and connect and interact with other users in the community because we will get rewards automatically over time.

So far, I've always tried to Make grow my Account by routinely doing Power Up Hive Power. Because one of the goals or things I want to achieve in Hive is wanting to grow over time because I have made goals, namely in the form of things that I want to get at Hive in the future And one of them is wanting to have Hive Powers in large quantities.

2.Why is Plagiarism Frowned Upon on Hive

All types of plagiarism are not allowed on Hive, whether it's plagiarism in the form of quotes, articles or even photos. The act of plagiarism is strongly against at Hive, because plagiarism is an act that is not good because it intentionally takes and claims other people's work without asking permission or displaying the original source.

In my opinion, doing plagiarism is the same as stealing, but the thing stolen is in the form of works, not objects like thieves in the real world. If you want to take a quote and photo belonging to someone else, then we must display the source of the original post to appreciate other people's original work.

If it is found that someone is doing plagiarism in Hive, there will be a penalty that must be received later, whether it is in the form of blacklisting the Hive account or other penalties from the Hive party because plagiarism is one of the actions not allowed and prohibited on Hive.

3.Explain why the use of tags is very important on Hive

The use of tags is very important At Hive, it aims to make our posts easy to find or review by moderators or community curators related to a theme that we post.

So that all Hive users are highly recommended to use tags that match the content of the articles they create, so that later their posts are easy to find or review for curation by community accounts related to the themes they post.

The point is we have to find out what tags are allowed to be used and which are not to be used. In a certain theme, it is intended that the tags we use in our posts are in accordance with the contents of the post.

4.List some general tags you know on Hive. Explain the difference between these tags.

The list of common tags that I know and often use is as follows:

• proofofbrain
• neoxian
• creativecoins
• palnet
• hive

And that is a general tag that we can use in every article that we post on Hive, because usually all the tags I mentioned above are tags that can be used on any post theme that is on Hive.

Here are the differences between these tags:

Proofbrain - Is a general tag that can be used in all types of posts as long as the post is purely from our thoughts or original.

Neoxian - This is also a tag that can be used publicly and will get support if our posts are of quality.

Creativecoin & Palnet - This is a common tag that can be used in various types of posts and we also have a chance to get tokens associated with these tags.

Hive - Among all the tags I mentioned above, this tag is the most frequent and we can use in all types of posts.
