W36E1 Contest - The Customer Is Always Right ?

Hi Everyone !

In this post, I am back to take part in the Contest Week 36 Edition 1 held by the Hive Learners Community.

This is one of the very interesting topics in Week 36 Edition 1, because the theme of the Contest this time is "The Customer is Always Right". And on this occasion, I will share my personal experience as a customer who often buys things at various stores and encounters various types of sellers.

The term customer is always right is not always attached to a customer, this is because every seller and customer has a different type and usually customers are always right often addressed to customers who like to haggle over prices.

Sellers don't have many choices when they have to deal with customers who like to haggle over prices, so they are actually very lazy to meet that type of customer, but they have no other choice because they are also have to sell their wares, including to people who like to bargain price of goods.

Usually customers often bid the price of their merchandise below the market price, so sellers usually can't take much advantage of this type of customer. And that is the reason why the customer is always right because the seller cannot argue too much with the price offer that the buyer is offering.

If the seller does not agree with the price offered by the customer, the customer usually chooses to buy at another store and that is what makes Punjual not have many choices so they have to deal at the price offered by the customer even though they not get much profit from the sale.

However, because the customer is always right, the shop owner or seller must agree with the price offered by the buyer, because otherwise the buyer will not buy their wares and choose to buy at another store. Cases like this do often occur in the world of trade and I myself as a customer often do it too.

There is another term that is most attached to the sale and purchase of goods, that the buyer is the king and the seller must serve the buyer as if he were a king. Although at this time we find many sellers who are not friendly to buyers and make buyers uncomfortable shopping there, and that type of seller will usually always be empty of customers because they are not friendly to buyers.

Many large shops serve buyers like a king and that is a common thing in the world of commerce. Because have of the term "Buyer Is King" So sellers do have to serve customers like a king even though the buyers appearance looks mediocre.

Back to the main topic that "The customer is always right" and this term is not always right because it depends on the seller and the buyer too. But if there are customers who like to bid on the price of merchandise, then that is true because usually sellers don't have many choices for that type of customer like that.

And the point is that the term "Customer is Always Right" is true, but not all customers are of that type when they are buying something. Because there are types of customers who don't want to be complicated and don't have much to bargain for, and those types of customers are not included in the term "Customer is Always Right".

The customer can always be right, especially when there is a saying that the customer is king. We must also make the customer comfortable with our business The spirit is always for us friends hehe

That particular phrase has caused a lot of customers to be unnecessarily difficult to people, just for no cause. We all need to change as a people, but then the change begins with us.

Thank you for sharing this with us.

That's absolutely true, however, we as customers must respect the seller and vice versa. 😁👍

i agreed to all your premises, it is vice versa. customers may be right at times, and they may not be right at times.
when i was a sales boy, i often increased the price of some chemicals to get my own personal money. because of my relationship and my behaviors with these customers, they never argue with me.
Therefore, there is a way you can relate to them and you will sell the products and the customers will be happy to buy it. i don't like to argue with customers. when i discover that you want to get angry, i bring out a joke either i know you or not. this strategy worked for me, and i was able to gain more customers.

I like the way you approach a customer, and I hope that other sellers follow you how approach to a customer. 😁👍

Customers are indeed Kings to sellers because without them the business will not stand. nevertheless as human we should not take advantage of whatever privilege that has been offered unto us. Some customers don't regard sellers as anything they approach them anyhow they want simply because they feel it is their money and if one seller refuses to sell for them they can go to any shop and get the goods. Customers are right when they make reasonable complains but they are wrong when they treat sellers like some piece of rag. Also every seller is supposed to be strategic in handling his customers for the business to keep going. Sellers should have good manners of approach and know how to apply patience and endurance is in their business affairs.

every customer has a different character, and usually sellers cannot approach all types of customers because there are customers who are easy to talk to and there are customers who are really annoying. 😁

Seriously not every customer is approachable. But as a seller, there is no option than to dance According to the tune, its part of the job

@theycallmewell you said it well : customer is a king through which business grows and through their feedback, you get more and more customers. So, putting customer on the wrong seat is not the right thing to do for a true businessman. In my opinion, customer can never be wrong. If he bargains for anything, still it's up to seller to sell it to him or not. Customer can be harsh or angry but the seller or the person offering services always needs to work and respond customer with patience. Thanks for sharing your views on the topic.

That is why I said that not all customers are always right because sometimes they are also annoying and that type of customer is not worthy of us calling them always right.
