RE: LeoDEX and Its Killer Features You Must Know (LEO&HODL Contest)

The deposit/withdraw function seems really nice, especially when other services are low on liquidity (looking at you, HiveSwap...)
I don't understand the vote multiplier thing very well, though, how does that work?

Yes, that's true. Sometimes liquidity can be low on the other swapping dApps.
The voting multiplier is where you increase the weight or shall I say percentage of your upvote in terms of layer 2 tokens (for example LEO Power or any other HE token that you have stakes on).
If you noticed, while your HP Voting Power is getting lower when you curate posts, your Leo Power VP might still be at 100% because especially when most posts you are curating are not using LeoFinance. So to adjust that, it is advised to set the Voting Weight to 3 or above.

Huh, interesting, I'll have to take a look at that! I didn't even realize that layer 2 tokens could be used for voting power! !PIZZA !CTP
Yes if you have stakes in them. And it is not to be confused with our voting power in terms of HP.
When we curate contents, chances are, we can also earn layer 2 tokens apart from $HIVE.
For example, I have staked LEO (hence, I have Leo Power) so when I upvote LeoFinance contents, I will be earning LEO token (layer 2) plus $HIVE (from my Hive Power).

Okay, very interesting... Does that only take place if you use the LeoFinance frontend, or does it work if you vote one LeoFinance content through an app like PeakD? Been on Hive for over a year now, and I'm still learning new things! !PIZZA
Yes, I think any front-end as long as you have staked LEO.
I can relate with you as I'm learning too :) There are a ton of things to learn and glad we can do that with the time we spend around here.

Amen to that. Hive has a great community, very welcoming and helpful!
I can't argue with that because it's true :)
