Awesome tips! It still amazes me that there are people that join Hive/Listnerds and think just dropping their content is making them entitled to receive votes. I think it's logical that you have to make sure they see you, make connections, why would they show up if you don't?

I'll be forever grateful for the support I received from my early days on the platform and for those that stood by me on my journey.

It's so true. Heck I've been at this every day basically for 5 years and I'm still SO grateful for every vote I get. The trick is to think of that, as a side benefit...And go after the relationships though comments etc...That's the power!

Absolutely true! Even though I've always appreciated the support deeply, I also remember that for a long time I had no other choice than to cash our part of my earnings, and I remember that it felt very freeing when that wasn't needed anymore because at that moment, the rewards were even less important. To me, it's always been clear that the connections made are the true power, I always knew that this is something so valuable in many other ways than the monetary rewards. But when you are only focused on building and in no need to take out earnings anymore, it's a great feeling to not care about votes anymore. Of course, it's great when they appear, but it's not something I even check during the week.

The connections are truly more valuable!

People hate hearing it, but I truly believe that as well. The connections are...The true wealth here.

Exactly!
You can not just drop whatever and leave and then expect people to just vote without really building some form of connection with them. With relationship comes commitment and support, you would agree. 🤌🤌

Yes! Visibility is important 👌. People can only show up when they believe they have seen you before and have felt your consistency.
