Recently, I had the opportunity to visit the famous Café Racer, a themed restaurant set especially for motorcycle and engine lovers. Located in San Antonio de Los Altos, in the state of Miranda in Venezuela.

This place is currently very fashionable, because in addition to its attractive theme, great cuisine and excellent service, there are numerous musical events that are very popular with the public. Although, it should be noted that the day I visited them, there was no special programming and perhaps that is why there were very few customers in the place.

When I arrived at the site, I was very surprised, because I had no idea of the restaurant I was going to that day, since it was an invitation from my son, to eat some excellent chicken wings in a restaurant where, according to him, they prepared them wonderfully, to the point that he said they were the best chicken wings he had ever eaten in his life. He never told us which restaurant we were going to.

So, when I arrived at the site, the only thing on my mind were the famous chicken wings and what would be my impression when I came across that place that I found so fascinating, even though I am not a motorcycle lover, this coupled with the little knowledge I have about them. Besides, I confess that I only want to see them from a distance, of course, without forgetting that riding or riding a motorcycle is a very tasty activity, which is why I perfectly understand those guys who in the mid-twentieth century, gave life to this cultural tradition of Café Racer.

The place is decorated with authentic motorcycles and a large number of objects and accessories characteristic of the world of motorcycling, all strategically located, so that it gives the feeling that you are in a kind of museum restaurant.

I loved the restaurant, I really enjoyed observing each of the details that I discovered as I walked through it. The first thing that caught my attention was an old gasoline dispenser located near the entrance of the restaurant, I had already seen it in pictures, but I did not know it belonged to that restaurant.

Upon entering the main area, the first thing I saw was the colorful and ingenious bar, rectangular in shape, made of wood and metal barrels, individually identified with the logos of different gasoline brands from the 50's. On the other hand, the benches, which are distributed along the bar, are made of wood and wrought iron, with the footboard decorated with motorcycle sprockets, a detail that makes them look very flirtatious and striking as can be seen in the following photographs:

Further on, towards the back of the enclosure, we find a wall decorated with the restaurant's logo and a collection of colorful motorcycle helmets. On one side, a black racer motorcycle is parked.

Before going to the area where the black motorcycle is located, we can go to the left and we will find another entrance or exit of the store, this depends on how you look at it. In this area there is a wall decorated with different photographs alluding to the world of motorcycling and a poster containing general and historical information about the café racer. In the upper part of the walls of this entrance, two eye-catching motorcycles and a bicycle are exhibited, all of them suspended from the upper part of some large windows.

So far I have only shown you the inside of the restaurant, an area that I would call the main area of the Café Racer. Now, I will move you virtually to the outside area, where we will find different environments to choose from when it comes to eating or having a drink in this exquisite place. Here are the pictures where you can see most of the outside area.

To conclude this publication, I left for the end the delicious dish of chicken wings that we ate in this spectacular place and that was the reason that led me to live this fantastic experience, as it was to know by surprise such a striking restaurant with such a history. Ah! And I tell you that I share my son's opinion regarding the wings, they are the best I've ever eaten in my life!

First of all, I am infinitely grateful for having taken part of your time to visit this content that I hope has been to your liking and at the same time I take this opportunity to recommend you that if you have the opportunity, do not miss this restaurant, I am sure you will have a great time there in addition to eating delicious food.

For now I say goodbye, until my next publication, where I will surely do my best to show you some other interesting place that I have the fortune to visit.

Saludos.
