Othello is a tragedy work of art written by Williams Shakespeare.
Othello is focused on two characters, "The moor" who is the protagonist and "Iago" who is the antagonist in the story.
In this text Othello, Shakespeare portrays Iago as the embodiment of evil, accentuating his malicious nature and capacity to distort reality. He was able to manipulate the mind of three characters in the text. (Roderigo, Cassio, and Othello)

The moor also known as Othello in the story is the general venetian army who got married to Desdemona without the approval of the father brabatiano, Desdemona father seems not happy with the decision of the daughter. He believed the moor eloped with his daughter using his power as the general. The moor loved his wife but when their trials and tribulations started, which later resulted to Desdemona's death, though it was the moor that strangled her to death but Iago was behind all the actions, his malicious act and act of jealousy made him poison and spoil a happy home by manipulating othello's mind to carryout the act.

Iago is the most trusted by the moor known as othello but jealous and traitorous ensign, who was denied promotion to be the moor's lieutenant. He became jealous of the person it was given to, Cassio. Cassio on the other hand is othello's generous and well beloved lieutenant, a loyal one too.

Iago was jealous of Cassio personality and plotted against him. He made othello became suspicious of Cassio and Desdemona in the instances he planned which made them to be together. Iago successfully sows the seeds of doubt in Othello's mind, inevitably sealing Othello's fate, after proving to othello that Cassio and Desdemona are intimate.
He manipulated othello's mind that he was ordered to go after Cassio which he failed while othello strangled his wife to death. After finding out the truth Othello also known as the moor hated himself and took his own's life leaving Cassio as his successor and Iago to face his consequences.
Iago is a complete definition of malicious, having the intention to harm others because of power.

I find this post valuable @timmypat. Back in the days, I also read this Literary Text by William Shakespeare.

This Literary Text is an embodiment of creativity and human's nature. The act of jealousy is one of Othello's Tragic Flaws. This is the one of the prominent thing that led the protagonist to his downfall — leading to the killing of Desdemona and himself

Thanks for sharing!

I love that you used a review of the central themes of tragedy within one of Shakespeare's most famous works to illustrate malice. I'm a fan of the tragedies myself, although my favourite is Hamlet💗
