It been few days I joined the fungi lovers community and I have promise am going to give my best to bring something to the community, but since that day I have not been doing that, and that was why I embark on an adventure in search of a mushroom because where am living you can hardly find one or two, and if you are lucky to see one maybe in a farm area or a garden, so I decide to go into a very big bush in search for a mushroom it took me almost an hour to locate a forest and I went in there I search and I search I could not found one only the smaller one

roadside or field it has is unique shape and snakeskin pattern and also whitish in color this type of mushroom is eatable, the size can be deceitful when cooked because you might end up having a smaller portion after cooking plenty of it, the flavors and taste are just so different,
PREPARATION
Only the cap that will be detached from the stems and it has its own kind of odor, it also need to be well washed some people prefer to dry in sun or wet it can be fried 🍳 in a pan temporarily and they were best serve only or mixed with other soup, I prefer been served together with melon soup 🍲 with some chump of fish and cow skin or served as a sauce the stems are been throw away in my own case I don't know for some other people , it can also be fried, dried, sauteed in stew depending on how you like it, am really happy I found it thanks to @fungilovers that gave me the opportunity to be a part of this family and to share my experience,

macrolepiota procera? I have doubts it is in the photos! as macrolepiota procera has a very thin and long stem, with a 'movable' sliding coil. dont put to your meal what you not 100% sur eabout! it can have very pityful effects..

Agree this probably is something different than a parasol, especially since it looks to be hatching from an egg-like base. I don't think I've ever seen a cracked cap with this pattern before...
