"Almost everything will work again if you unplug it for a few minutes, including you"

Anne Lamott

Once again, I chose a quote by someone I never heard about before. I had to google Anne Lamott's name to find out she is a writer an activist. I'm not familiar with any of her work and I don't know what she is an activist for but for the purposes of this post none of it really matters. I only chose this quote because of its meaning and not because of who said it.

I think there is a lot of wisdom in those words and I have personally experienced the hazards of going too long without unplugging. I'm a productivity freak and I'm always looking for ways to be more productive and make the most of time. It's not really an option anymore. Having a 9-5 job, a business of my own and a strong presence on Hive "forces" me to be productive and very organized.

When I was younger, I would do anything to get a couple of extra hours in my day and that included sleeping a lot less than the average person. It did work for a while but after sometime, I learned that I can be more productive in 1 hour when I'm rested than in 3 hours if I'm mentally and phisically exhausted.
